Compressor froze after 2 years

Took a change on "Midea" freezer and it did not work out for me. The compressor stuck after 2 years. Luckily I was home and noticed it so we quickly moved the food to another freezer, fridge and coolers. We lost a few things but not what we could have if we had not been home and noticed it was not cold. The bad thing is the compressor is still under warranty but the cost of the labor is not. Went out twice in under three years

Bought the freezer and extended warranty. No help with getting repaired. Keep giving me the runaround with honoring the warranty. I give up. I’m just gonna try another store and another brand

horrible junk

bought this pile of junk freezer two years ago. the first year it died and had to do a warranty claim on it within 12 months. now almost the same time a year later this junk stops working again. warranty is up. do not buy this thing or anything from Midea. and Lowe's should be ashamed of themselves.

Would not recommend

Purchased 5/23 and one exactly like it 4 years before. Both compressors stopped working without notice. Not a reliable product.

Garbage

This freezer only worked for just short of 2 years. I spoke to a Midea rep and they stated that it only had a 1 year warranty and would do nothing to help fix the problem aside from sending out a tech at my expense.... hit garbage...save your money and buy an old manual freezer that will outlive you

They will not honor warranty. worst ever

I purchased this freezer and about 10 months later it completely stopped cooling. I bought it during the winter and kept it in my garage, which shouldn't have been an issue since it is advertised as a "garage-ready" freezer. Not working

quit working after one year and manufacture gives you the hardest time possible for repairs. warranty requires original receipt and Lowe's online receipt will not work for them

Midea Garage ready Freezer/Refrierator

we have had this in Freezer mode and after 18 months, it has stopped working. Trying to get Midea to live up to their 2 year Parts & Labor warranty.

bad product

o purchased this freezer 6/24. it has a 2 year warranty, the compressor failed 21 months in. I'm currently dealing with midea. they have rejected the claim. starting the receipt is blurred. I will never buy from this manufacturer again. and will tell anyone who will listen what a horrible product they produce.

Today is 3/29/26 &freezer DIED

This freezer is kept in the basement with controlled temps, was never unplugged and owned by 2 senior citizens. Came home today from a 4 day trip to a wretched smell as we walked in.
