Would RecommendI have used this router only twice, I bought it for a back up and to take the manual load. My Porter Cable is mounted in the router table and stays there now. The locking device is great. A great product and I do not anticipate any problems. Thanks.

Overall, a good product at a good price
Would RecommendI have not had this product for too long and so cannot comment as to it's durability, but so far I am impressed. The power level is more than adequate, the noise level is surprisingly low compared to other routers I've owned, and the ease at which depth adjustments can be made is very good. The design with the base being fully removable is a great improvement over my previously owned tool. This makes cleaning very easy and small adjustments of a couple thousands are easily made. Would Recommendthis is my first router purchase and and am still learning to use it. the price and the features beat the other brands,except harbour freight but from past exprience you get what you pay for and hitachi has a good reputation. the router has performed perfectly so far, lots of power, soft start, 1/4&1/2 collet and variable speed are nice. easy and accurate adjustments. 5 year warranty a big plus.
