It was a little bit difficult to program at first, the once I did figure out how to do it it works like a charm. I actually purchased the second one for out front of my house

Great so far!

Working well right now for 3 weeks. Easy to set up and I love the way you can easily open up each hose.

Excellent

I bought this because my four outlet Orbit brand leaked internally and I had to return it got a new one, it was terribly hard to program and then malfunctioned after two months of use .This Melnor unit was easy to install,program and has a simple manual valve for each outlet. Much smaller and compact than the Orbit and has a nice swing out of the way programmer head to reach faucet if needed.

It works is about all I can say about it.

I got this one before I left on vacation. I don't know if it watered any other zones other than just Zone 1. Anyway, the programmers that programmed the timer on this thing need to go back to programming school. If you want to change how many days between waterings, you need to reset the thing and reprogram it every time or it will stay on your previous days between. I had it set to everyday on one zone and every other on the rest of the zones. Well, it only watered the first zone everyday ...

Great

This thing works perfectly. I would prefer if I could select times for all waterings but you can only set specific times for each of the 4 lines and then you have to select how many hours to the next watering, not a specific time. Other than that I did have problems with the manual watering but read the manual that detailedhow to fix that problem and it worked. So if you have that problem read the manual on how to fix it, it is very simple.

Need simpler directions

Had to call Melnor twice, however, they provided great customer service. First problem, couldn’t get one valve to close. Second, couldn’t set multiple times per day to water. Customer service at Melnor was able to assist.

Vales did not work at first, alter following the instruction problem was cleared.

I have used this timer only a few weeks and love it. I had used a two hose timer from a competetor and they failed and I had to use a one to two hose adaptor to tbe able to use a third hose when needed. This four hose manifold on the times works great and easy to manually switch from timer to manual and back, just turn a knob 1/4 turn and water starts flowing and inasmuch as I don't have to make changes to the times I use a hose bib winter cover to keep the timer dry. Excellent product

This timer is way better then the orbit one they used to carry. Has all the features you need. I own two of them.

Works nicely but concerned with flow restriction

Not hard to set up and program. My only concern is with restricted flow when valves are open. Being on a well, I will protect the valves with a pre filter. But being on a well and not on "city" water with the generally associated higher water pressures I will have to make do with only one zone usable at a time. I'll live with it given the savings in overall multi-zone valve costs.

I found this timer to be very easy to use and simple to program. I'm very happy with it
