MAYTAG, still the Best and Most Reliable.

JUNK I PROMISE!

FIXED the GEAR CASE and CAM almost immediately after 11 months. Under warranty but still. Now, 4 years later the Power wheel GEAR has stripped naked and bled metal shavings into the wash tub. 350.00 to get this fixed now if fixable. We bought the Maytag with the 10 year warranty. Bait and break.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We retired our old washer and dryer after 30 years of good service and purchased your Maytag products. Naturally the technology has greatly advanced so learning and upgrading myself after so long has taken a little time, but the progress is good. I enjoy the huge tub and choices I have selecting the best cycle to use. So far it is very good as is the dryer. So far, I am completely satisfied.

Not Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first. Wash times are a bit longer and water saving is hard to adjust to but is the norm these days. I can say my clothes are much cleaner and spun almost dry reducing dry times significantly.

Maytag washer - value at expense of time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought Maytag washer 5.3 cu ft month ago. We had LG washer that served us well for 11 years. Maytag washer does a good job of wash, rinse & spin. However, it takes way too long! A quick wash load that LG use to finish in 25 mins now takes 45 mins. The other cycles ( normal, towels) take anywhere from 1 to 1 hour 20 mins based on the load. During the cycle run, sometimes it prompts to rebalance the load. Biggest regret

I hate this washer so much. My clothes never seem to get clean. If you like to add fabric do l softener or anything scent boosting for the rinse cycle this isn't the washer for you either. It all drains out in the wash cycle or before if you shut there draw just slightly to hard out fast. Then it all drains it from the movement of the wash cycle. It's loud and takes forever to.
