This washer vibrates more than the one it replaced

Setup by the delivery service at Lowe’s was prompt and on time. The people that came were friendly and professional. Their setup of the washer on its pedestal was okay but the actual final install was poor. They leveled the machine without a level, the feet were not screwed into the pedestal or locked with the stop nuts and they did not know how to run the machine other than to turning it on and off, but they were not able to spin or functionally test the unit. A bit skeptical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my washer the end of November. It broke down by mid January. It was still under warranty and was finally fixed three weeks later. I am a bit uncertain if we made a mistake puchasing these. Hoping we won’t have more problems the day after warranty expires.

For your sanity

If you value your sanity DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE! This machines drain is so delicate that the smallest piece of paper left in a pocket will clog it. If you have it paired and stacked, moving it around to get to the rear panel is a nightmare. If you have pets DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. Animal hair will accumulate in the drain and clog it. What’s up with the ridiculous end of cycle volumes

I've purchases this Maytag duo washer/dryer in late December 2025, on Saturday Jsnuary 24th while attempting to do my weekly laundry, the machine was not working at all. I called customer service and was told that I have to wait until Monday as the service team doesn't work on weekends. I called back on Monday and got a service scheduled for Tuesday.
