Great performer!

As a busy family we get a lot of use out of the convection feature especially for small batch baking. Great for homemade pizza’s as well! We are very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

Great microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this microwave for a bit now and it's pretty great, great features, easy to use. The only thing I don't like is the gap between the window and the inner layer of the door, you cannot clean between it and it looks gross after a while. Other than that it's a great appliance.

Long life

I am writing this review after having this microwave die and I am shopping to replace it. The pros of this unit: long life. Ours lasted 11 years with daily use. Pretty good considering the one before it was a GE that only lasted 3 years! It always seemed to work well, although as it got older, it seemed to take more time to do the same jobs. Especially defrosting. Cons: The cabinet height of 17 inches really reduces the clearance over your stove. The undercabinet light to illuminate the rangeto...

This Microwave Is Great!

We bought this microwave about six years ago and it has exceeded expectations! The rectangular cycle of the tray allows me to "cook" casseroles and brown them in the oven. With three kids and their friends in our home ti was a lifesaver preparing food quickly. This is the best appliance I've ever bought!

Disappoinment

We bought this microwave in 2012 and now not working anymore... Had issue with the door in the past and I decided to change the door switches still not working. We wont call repairman to look at it as it will cost probably same price as getting new one.

No more Maytags for me

I bought my house in the fall of 2012 and bought all Maytag appliances for it- this microwave, range, fridge, dishwasher, washer, and gas dryer. The microwave was pronounced dead today, the washer died in December (both to be replaced), and all the others have been worked on at least once each except for the gas dryer. I thought Maytag was a good product, as I had Maytags in my former house that lasted for years without service calls. The range is the worst I have ever owned, as it takes fore...

This microwave completely stopped working

The microwave was in a hoisevwe bought in 2014. It had been installed in 2013. So six years later and it is completely not working. So disappointed in Maytag. Usually a long lasting appliance go to. But not anymore :(

Manufactured July 2012 bought in 2013

I liked it a lot and liked the rectangular glass tray. But today it died. All the lights work and it sounds like it want to start but it stops. I had another microwave when my home was built in 2002 that lasted until 2013. I paid more for this microwave and expected to have it last at least 10 years. I now see the model is discontinued. I see that something is warranted for 10 years. Can you help me with this matter.

Not happy.

Bought this in Oct 2012 and it just stopped working. It runs, makes a rapid clicking sound behind the buttons and then shuts of after 2 seconds. Looks like I'm either going to have to pay way too much to have it fixed or replace it. (It is also annoying you cannot disable the reminder beep that tells you the timer ended and something is in there.)

Great Microwave But Didn't Last As Expected

This was a great microwave until it died on us a few days ago. I especially like the wide glide tray. The microwave has a manufacture date of April 2011 so I'm really surprised it has already gone out without any cause. We are a Maytag family and really thought it would be a while before having to replace it.

Great microwave until it died!

Purchased 8 years ago and loved it until now. It started not heating solid foods and then not heating at all. I replaced the magnetron with identical part and it did heat water, but took awhile. 2 minutes to attempt to heat frozen red peppers with no success. Unit was manufactured June 2009 and should still be working.

Great performance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My microhood performs very well. I like the movement of the table back and forth instead of around. It is easy to keep clean, and has a very nice façade. Suggested times for foods put in the microhood are precise. The stainless steel look of the unit adds to my kitchen and is easy to keep clean.

Looks nice is about it

Our microwave is five years old. This is the second time the microwave will not heat. The first time, it was not even a year old. And now at the five year Mark is doing it again. I will never buy a Maytag product again. Now as we are about to sell our house, this lemon had to go out on us. Maytag used to have quality appliances. Not anymore.

Maytag Microhood

Bought this replacement in 2014, have been very pleased with it and its quietness. Did have some panel work done as it was misreading commands in first year; works like a charm from then on. I enjoy the sleekness of design and the quietness of door closure.

Faulty wire

Best Microwave
