When purchasing this microwave, I chose it for the "WideGlide" tray and square movers. I defrost square and rectangle glass freezer containers, so I love the large rectangle tray and the square turntable.I also love the "add 30 second" feature.

Getting used to new Microwave

In general, the function of the microwave is satisfactory. It does not work well for popping popcorn, which is a snack I particularly like. It also does not have the "express" cooking numbers of my old microwave (press the number 1 and you get one minutes of microwave). I needed to get used to manually entering the time but once going, the function of the device is good.

Great product

Bought the microwave about five months ago. It looks great, it Is built very well, works great too with the plate moving back and forth instead of rotating.

MAYTAG BELIEVER!

Happy to have a built in Microwave and matches well with our new kitchen. Works very well too, so far. Just installed in our remodeled kitchen. Expect appliance to last a long time.

Stopped heating after 2.5 years

After 2.5 years of faithful service, it just stopped heating. Fine on Saturday, dead on Sunday. No weird noises or smells just flat out won't heat. The loud I can deal with, the nagging timer, I can deal with. A microwave that doesn't heat? No thank you.

Unaware of serious problem!

I bought this about two months ago and have discovered a serious design flaw. The burners on my stove are two small in the back a medium on the front left and a large burner on the front right. Every time I boil water , homemade soups or stwes the fan doesn't capture the steam and it hits the bottom of the microwave. Condensation accumulates and drips back into the food. Yuck! Mostly great!

The only complaint I have is, my microwave oven is so noisy! Never had one before that was so loud. I do like the way the wideglide tray works and its capacity. It has all the features I want.

new microwave

I purchased a new maytag microwave which. replaced a 21 year old Amana radar range. I love all the new features this has and has so much more power than old one. I got the stainless steel and it looks great too. I've only had it a couple weeks now but I hope it will last at least half as long as my last one.

good purchase

I like the wide glide tray and also the additional rack. Very spacious so everything fits inside. Also very easy clean up which is a plus for me.
