Easy to use

Love that it is not to hard to build and use. The design is great as the food is not right on top of the charcoal and wood chips. Great smoky flavor.

Loved it at first but.....

This smoker was purchased for my as an early Christmas Gift in November of 2021. I have used it approximately 12 times. I enjoy the quality of smoked meat that I get. What i dont enjoy is the problems I have encountered. The Charcoal basket warped pretty early on and has continued to warp to the point where it does not really fit that well into the fire box anymore. One of the runners for the ash container has fallen off. I am not running super high temps as most of what I have smoked is smoked ...

CS40G1DW Slides Message

I keep getting a “warm up complete. Remove slides” message on the smoker app. after I start the fire and preheat the smoker. I have no idea what the SLIDES are and the instructions do not discuss them anywhere.

Great smoker with great flaws

we've purchased 3 of these and every single one, the door hinges have came apart within 6 months. The one we have now came off within 3 months. We love this smoker for our restaurant needs but for the price, this is a major costly flaw because we can't use this without a door!

Fancy name for basic junk

Walls are very thin, doesn't have a good feel to it. Assembly instructions are horrible. Not worth the money spent

Had this smoking for 6 weeks only 3 smokes on it

Had this for only 6 weeks. and blower motor stops working. sent my warranty pictures in along with my Receipt will see what happens.

Great concept low quality

I have used my masterbilt about 12 times now, the charcoal basket has warped as I used it at 400 would not recommend anything over 300 for this product. I contacted customer support who said they shipped one to me but I have yet to see it. Now it does not turn on at all worked good when it worked tho.

For under 400 dollars TAKE A CHANCE

Its not double walled construction but IT WORKS. After seasoning it i smoked baby backs and bone in chicken thighs. Temp controlled fan and consistent outcome so far.

Do not buy this.

I bought this as a replacement for their budget bullet smoker. That product is utterly superior. I want my money back for this, and I know I will not get it since I have used the product. This product Leaks terribly (particularly through the front door that lacks a seal) Due to leakage, doesn't transfer smoke flavor Goes higher than set temperature constantly Initial package was missing screws. Some parts and even screw holes don't line up. Can't do a low smoke. Can't truly control temperature....

Broken parts

We thought this was an electric smoker with the added benefit of using charcoal for additional flavor. It is nothing but a charcoal smoker with a fan to control temperature. Upon opening the box we found rivets that had broken off the fire box and it wasn't usable. We contacted the company and they said they would send a new firebox out. That was over 10 days ago and we haven't heard from them since. This smoker requires a lot of assembly. All in all we are disappointed in this purchase.

Good smoker

Easy to assemble but has trouble holding temperature

No seal on the door

Smoker is well made and makes lasts smoke, meat is easy to make and tasty. I make brisket and chicken gives excellent results with comparable results on a gas grill. I didn’t like that it dose not have a seal on the door but I’m planning to put one

Cheap construction + poor design = perfect results

15 hr smoked brisket at 225 came out absolutely perfect. I went through 40 lbs of charcoal, changing every 5 hrs (not easy due to handleless coal box). The app is only good for setting and monitoring temps, it does not have any useful notifications such as temperature fluctuations or errors. The coal box was horribly warped from one use. Walls are thinnest metal imaginable and the welds are shoddy. No insulation or door gasket. Prone to rust. Obviously not built to last.

STOP WORKING

I purchased this smoker on 6/6/2021. It lasted less than 6 months. I can't even get it to come on anymore. It's appears there is a shortage in the wiring

Great concept, cheaply built

I bought this a day ago. There are some things I like about it and there are some things i dislike about it. Pros: bluetooth connectivity seems to work fine, I'm able to easily control the smoker from the app. The fan speed does adjust based of your set temperature to maintain the temperature. Having the option to have multiple thermometers going, all connected to the smoker and viewable on the app is really nice. It just looks awesome and the latches and doors are just satisfyi...

Temp probe error

Brought 5 months ago. Internal Temp probe bad connection not sure if it’s the digital controller or the probe it self but wont stay running cause it thinks it below temp
