Good lock for rental use

So far this lock box has worked great for us. It has easy, simple directions with it to show you how to set and change the code. For the costs so far it's great.

Fine at first...

The unit I purchased was fine at first. Set the code with however many digits you choose. It was a bit cumbersome that the latch doesn't allow you to close the box the same way you can close a locked doorknob. Instead think of this like a deadbolt. You have to pit in the code to open it and then if you let go, enter the code again to shut. While annoying, it was functional. Fast forward about 9 months and it's dead now. Lock box for rental house

Had a problem with the first one I purchased. Once opened, I couldn't close it. Took it back & had no problem getting it replaced. This one works great. Mechanism is a little tight but rather it be tight than loose and falling open. GOOD PRODUCT (Especially for the money)

Does not meet my security expectations

This device is OK for low risk uses. I would not trust it for any important applications. In my opinion, it would be better to have a dial combination rather then the buttons of this lock.

Do NOT buy!

I never found the hook. Initially I thought this was a good product until I realize that any combination u choose DOES NOT have to be keyed in any order to open. For example if ur code is 1234 u could masg 2314, 4321, 1243 and all would open! I threw away receipt so this is money wasted! Am replacing on next days off!!!!

As a Realtor, this works for my listing, to allow other agents access to the home.

Excellent Design

The setup process is very easy. Ample space between the buttons to be able to open unit in darkness due to simple design. I really like that access code must be entered again in order to close the unit (measure of safety in terms of someone copying access code).

Best investment ever

My husband got locked out of the house.......Twice... but who's counting, lol... we should have gotten one of these a long time ago to have saved on window repairs..We haven't needed to use this to get in the house yet, but it's nice knowing we have a secure way to keep a key handy not only for us to use but also if we needed someone to check on our pets while we are away or if an out of town guest needs to wait on us inside the house till we arrive home.. Not a true combination lock

I rated this item as fair because no matter what order you set the combination, those numbers can be pressed in any order and unlocked. This is a BIG NO for me! However intial set up was simple after realizing the instructions were tucked behind a label. I never did find the hook to the hang the key on the inside. However this item will be returned due to the combination issue.

DO NOT BUY THIS. We bought 3 to use on rental houses. We ran out of the ones we usually use, which have the combination lock on them. First one could not be opened at all. Second one could be opened, we read the directions and set the code, closed it up and it would not open. We are not stupid people, we set a simple 4 digit code we always use, and it would not open. Sturdy Lock

Purchased to provide access in my absence; should perform well. Was a bit difficult opening the packaging and locating the instructions and key hook. Spent a little time familiarizing myself with it before being comfortable with it.

Lockbox

This lockbox is easy to use and does not get stuck as those dial boxes.

Portable lock box

The controls are easy to see and use. The space inside the box is larger the the standard lock box. I am glad that we purchased this box and it makes using it much much easier that our last lock box.

MasterLock Lock Box-Non-Functional piece of junk

I drove my car nearly 50 miles round trip today to buy one of these in the store. Got it home and followed the instructions carefully to get the plastic on the back of the packet cut open to get the item operating instructions. Followed the "OPENING INSTRUCTIONS" carefully to get the silly device to open for the first time. Hit the CLEAR button and tried to push the OPEN BUTTON down but it WILL NOT EVEN BUDGE. Works really well and easy!!

Purchased this for our rental property. Works really well easy to use. Looks really nice on the door. I would recommend purchasing this item.

STURDY DESIGN, GREAT PRODUCT!

This lock box is very well designed for ease of use and weather protection. The only difficult part I had was finding and retrieving the instructions. It may be self explanatory for most people, but not for me.
