Blind mans lock

This is an excellent lock. I call it a blind mans lock because the dials only turn one way. They can be turned the other direction but they will stop on zero. When it’s dark and I can’t see the numbers all I have to do is go backwards until I hit zero then count each click until I know I have the combination right and pull. It works every time.unless I miscount.

Great lock, good under weather,

Have had this lock on gates for 4+ years. Never had one to bad. The rubber flap will come off eventually, but lock still holds up in all weather.

Good all weather lock

Easy to use and holds up well in all weather and well made. The rubber combo cover is a joke. It keeps falling off and you will get tired of putting it back on. Only other complaint would be the line for the combo is not centered on the bottom like most locks. It is one digit above.

JUNK!!

Ive purchased 4 master locks this month 3 of which were the round pad locks and then i picked up this one for my fence. This lock will not close unless you have the combination in, thumbwheels will jam up and will not rotate with the shackle open, the shackle is very sloppy, and the rubber cover on the bottom is a joke. The cover wont even stay on the lock yet alone stay shut. Master lock is not the quality brand it used to be and thats a shame. Look elsewhere if you want a reliable lock you can...

Broken w/n a month

One of the worst locks I've owned. Worse even than those old padlocks that secured my locker in high school gym class. I kept it on a security latch on an outbuilding. It was under a roof and never got rained on. No extreme weather. I just took it off yesterday & it will not return to the locking position & (obv) will not lock. I am going to take it back to Lowe's and ask for a refund, though I do not have any packaging or a receipt. Buy a different lock, please!!!

Master Lock

Super easy to set up and use and I never have to worry about losing or forgetting the key. I have two of these locks that have been outside in the weather for 5 years now and they still work great just spray them with WD-40 once in awhile.

Great lock and no keys to keep up with.

Great heavy lock and now I don't have to keep up with a lot of keys. I have locks on several things and now one combination unlocks them all. It is from Master so I trust it. I also tried several ways of trying to defeat it without the combination and it stood up to them all (no guns, it scares my neighbors.)

Not so hot

I felt pretty secure adding this lock to my property. Looked rugged, highlighted words on the package said it was one of their most reliable! Typical "gun proof", tougher shackle, hardened, blah, blah. Next day a contractor had work to do, thought we weren't home so simply cut the lock off and proceeded to work!

Lowes has a variety of great locks to choose from.

This combination lock is great especially if you need several. You can easily set the combinations all the same or in series to make it easier to remember. The feature that allows you to use it in low light is unique and very helpful for outdoor applications.
