It'll work for regular applications

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the lock. It's attractive, has clean lines, and carries a nice hefty weight. The number rollers operate smoothly upon opening. Time will tell how they hold up to the elements. I will say the rubber protector flap is garbage and has fallen out on its own several times. Finally, while this will keep most regular folks at bay, it wouldn't be hard for bad actors to cut.

Great combination lock

I always need a good luck that's not going to break when dropped or get corroded when outside. I dropped this off a two story building just to see if it would work. A good trusty lock.

Great heavy duty combination lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a great weather resistant heavy duty lock for indoor or outdoor use. This comes with a programmed combination but was also easy to reset. Like that this has a protective rubber cover over combination compartment that will hold up well to weather when we use on roof rack. Great product.

Powerful Lock

Sturdy and reliable!

The instruction sheet was a bit small for older eyes but it is all available online! Perfect fit for out shed at our northwoods hunting property!

Gross incompetence

Seriously? Nobody's bothered to review this crappy lock in the six years I've owned it? Okay, I guess I'll pop that cherry. Sure, it's "pick and pry" resistant, but you don't need to do either to easily defeat this lock. Just pulling on the shackle to provide tension and then wiggling each of the dials until you find the number that wiggles the most is enough to decode it with no tools required! Preset Code did not work

I bought this, the 1175 and another lock, the 1177. The 1177 was set to 0000 and opened fine. The preset combo printed in the instructions for the 1175 did not work. I had to guess the combination using a trick I didn't think would work. I made sure I was able to unlock it a few times, then I set my own combination. I wonder how many of these have been returned due to preset combinations not working?

What a Lock. It does everything a combo lock was supposed to do. It Locks. It unlocks. You can change the combination to something you remember. Its heavy. Check back for 1 year update. ;)
