Programmable padlock

I was excited. Bought one for a shed and another just to have. I took both of them back for refunds. They give you the printed on the instructions secret code number to put into the lock, you are to open the shank and then put in your personal code. With the secret code provided in the tumblers the shank would not disengage. I had the customer service Lowe’s person try. She could not get it to unlock. Hence it is worthless. I returned the second one as I expected it would be the same prob...

Excellent lock. Easy to set or reset the combination. Extremely sturdy.

Master Lock quality

Purchased this lock to secure recreational rural property. Couldn’t ask for a better one to give confidence that it will do the job. Very easy to operate. I would recommend this to anyone interested in the same.

Is not good for cold climates

This lock consistently jams in cold temperatures. It will not ooen, sometimes will not close, and the numbers will not budge in the colder months. I was so dissapointed and wasted my money. If you are using in warm climates it will work fine

Solid feeling lock - VERY hard to close

We bought three of these for some remote property where we wanted to secure our shed, ATV, and generator. What's good? - The lock seems like it handles being outdoors well and the lock gives a feel of being solid. It's also great being able to set the same combination across all three locks. The locks open easily when you can get the numbers to align. Buyer Beware

This lock is a total piece of junk. It worked for 4 weeks then froze up un be knownst to me. I used this lock to secure a farm gate. I got caught in a heavy rain and lightining storm trying to open this lock. I finally had to beat it open with a 4 pound sledge hammer. Do not buy this lock and expect it to last more than a few weeks. Way to go Lowes.

This combination padlock should not operate like

When you unlock the padlock. You have to lock it then roll the numbers. If you do not , and leave it unlocked. People can see your combination. This is a security risk for you. You should be able to roll the numbers while its unlocked. This should not be like this. I was a locksmith for 42 yrs. Don't tell me I'm wrong.

This is a heavy duty master lock, it feels sturdy and works like a charm.

Master Lock Magnum Combination Padlock

Strong sturdy lock but my my concern is the rubber flap covering the dials isn't particularly snug.

Good outdoor Lock

Have to be I bought previously. Lastly two years outside this should hold up as well.

Sturdy lock but a little user unfriendly

Lock is good and sturdy, but the instructions are hard to see. The combination must be offset, not along the center of the wheels. If you are looking at the numbers on the wheels you can see and break them into three rows, the combination must be along the top row, not the center row. Once you figure this out, and how to move the wheels, the lock works well.

Easiest lock to use this is my third one, combo is easy to set and simple to change, great item.
