Good for the first 2 years, then the problems start
Would Not RecommendTo begin, my family and I purchased the modular grill along with the accompanying sink. We are OCD with keeping the grill covered and cleaning it. It worked great for the first 2 years then the problems began. 1- the grill grates are rusting and the coating is flaking off. 2- 2 of the burners have begun to rust and I need to replace them 3- the grill cover and cover for the accompanying sink/burner has faded so badly that they are as thin as paper. I have duct tape in several spots. I cannot...
Junk
Would Not RecommendI have had this grill for 3 years and the grates are already shot and the burners are also already rusted out.. I have kept this grill in my garage for the winters but it has not stopped it from rusting out. I'M very disappointed with this product. I have been trying to get replacement parts but as of yet no luck. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS GRILL !!!!!
Rust Bucket after 18 months
Would Not RecommendI expected about 5 years of use out of this grill. I replaced a cheap members mark unit which is 5 years old now and has held up alot better The bottom of the cabinet and I will have to replace it within the next 12 months. Pay the extra money and get a full stainless steel cabinet
Unsure as of right now.
Would RecommendThe product came and we were excited to get it in place and hook it up. However, the granite was cracked on the grill unit and they had to take it back. We are waiting for the replacement. The delivery men were great and felt horrible that the product was damaged. We are anxiously awaiting the new piece. We also ordered the sink, grill and burners section. So far so good. We designed the entire system to look built in, and it absolutely does as we incorporated these units with our Green Egg and ...

Grates rusted and peeled too
Would Not RecommendSame thing happened to us too - rusty and peeling cooking grates. I thought that finally splurging and buying what looked like grill with "solid" parts would put an end to having to spend money on a grill every 2-3 years. But after paying over a $1,000 I just had to spend another $200 for new grates and heat covers which (not surprisingly) are not under warranty. The guy on the phone was very disinterested in my problem, stating that sometimes stainless steel can rust and peel - anyone ever hear...
Good grill, lousy grates
Would RecommendMy grates rusted too. I paid over 1000 dollars for a grill I was hoping would last. When you buy a grill with stainless steel grates the assumption is that it would not rust. Not only did it rust in less than 2 years, but it actually cracks and splits apart. Metal flakes off into the food. I really like this grill otherwise. I hope that writing this review will convince them to do a better job on such an important part of a very expensive grill. Customer service rep was lousy. Although I can not...
Sadly a Major Disappointment
Would Not RecommendYour initial thought will be, that this will be a great product. Then reality will set in once you get it home. This grill is so far from quality built that it is truly sad, because it does look very nice. The grates have burned and rusting layers flake off (after one year of use), one burner has completely fallen apart (can not find at any parts source?? vendor no help), ignitor went after after two months, the enamel coated base frame is rest and peeling. I keep this under a covered deck, and ...
Horrible quality. Really horrible
Would Not RecommendTwo years and it is gone. Garbage. Rust everywhere. The "stainless-steel" denomination in this grill must be a miss translation for bad metal, because no honest person would ever call that stainless-steel. The bottom floor is so rusted that if I push it with a finger it will go through. The top grill is disintegrating. What you see in the picture is the metal separating from a core (like an onion!). $4,000 of pure waste. I used to wash it after each use, and believe that just accelerated the dis...
Only three stars
Would RecommendThe grill is good the support from both Master Forge and Lowe;s is bad. I converted to unit to natural gas I needed some help on understanding the instructions so I called Master Forge got the run a round contacted Lowe's same thing. Finley figured it out on my own. I would have given five stars if the support had been better. Master Forge was rued when talking to them on the phone
Seems to be a good deal
Would RecommendI bought the three piece matching set last month. I have it hooked up to natural gas. The four burners get the temperature in the grill up to 525F. Cooks well with even heat. Lowe's delivered it fully assembled. Everything worked as advertised. There were no defects. Fit and finish is good. The granite is very nice. The water faucet can only be plumbed to one source of water. I replaced this faucet with a standard faucet so it could be plumbed to both hot and cold water. I do wish that a corner ...
This has to be the worst grill I've ever purchased
Would Not RecommendI did a lot of looking before I laid out the two grand to purchase this grill abs sink for our son as a house warming gift. I had the great pleasure of trying to use it this past week. The infrared searing burner what a joke, there was no sear to the steaks, they cooked just as fast on the grill. Now lets move on to that infrared rotisserie burner, In the video it shows two chickens on a spit, in the instructions it says if the rod isn't long enough use the extender provided. Wait there is no ro...
rusting after 3 years
Would Not RecommendBased on these other reviews I guess I'll go with some aftermarket porcelain grates. Its not hard to find the right dimensions. 17 5/8 x 8 3/4 . I'll update my post at some point and let you know how they do. My burners are also rusting out I guess I'll have to call MF for those though.
Looks great, works for a while, short life span
Would Not RecommendI purchased this grill from Lowes two years ago. At $1200, it was not cheap. At first we loved it. But the long term problems made me wish we had not gotten it. As mentioned in a previous review, the infrared heater never functioned properly. Additionally, the inner components are not made of stainless, and the inside gas valves are completely rusted out after only two years of very modest use. It is not even safe to use now. The grill has always been covered when not in use, and is in the shade...
Great item but delivery leaves a lot to be desired
Would RecommendI ordered this product plus two matching items. On the day of delivery, the driver informed me that they would only deliver it to my garage. This being because it is to heavy to move without a forklift. I don't own a forklift so I am wondering how to move it. there is concrete side walk that leads to the grill area but it is to wet for them to use it??????????
Lives up to its expectations
Would RecommendA fun grill to use. Important to take time to become familiar with grill before using first time. Some features such as lighting of burners are some what different than other grills. Had a bit of an initial problem with flare ups but I am not having that problem after a couple of uses. Like the heat range available on grill especially for steaks. Searing burner is an added attraction and is very handy.

Nice grill, but . . .
Would RecommendNice grill. Love the granite counter tops. But, after about three years of use, the stainless steel cooking grate is falling apart. Apparently, the stainless steel is merely steel plating over a base metal. The stainless steel is cracking and peeling away from the base metal. I’m told that this is not covered by the extended warrantee. As such, I am in the process of replacing the stainless steel cooking grate with cast iron. Also, the heat tents apparently need to be cleaned regularly or they ...
Great at first but then...
Would Not RecommendI have had this grill as well as the modular sink and bar unit and two burner stove top for 2.5 years. I loved them at first but after the first season the chrome started to pit and the cooking grates started to rust. Fast forward to today and the reason I am taking the time to review this item is because the sides and bottoms are rusting out. The light switches are not working, the cooking grates have completely split open to expose rusted metal and creates slivers of metal on the food. I have ...
