Impossible to find parts.

We purchased this in 2013 and have used it fairly regularly (about twice per week yearound) and in the past year all of our grates have disintegrated as have 3 of our burner assemblies and heat shields. I've searched everywhere - Lowes, various websites, etc. and was finally able to find grates on grillparts.com; however, the burner assemblies are still elusive since the part number is not listed anywhere. We've visited 3 different Lowe's locations looking for parts and none of them carry any ...

Don't Buy It

They are still selling these even though they carry no parts for them. Found a site Grillpartssearch.com that has made some retrofit burners for this unit

completely fell apart after 3 seasons

The base started corroding after the first season, 3 years later. There is a softball size rust hole right through the base. The stainless grills are deteriorated and two of the four burners are shot..and the seering station is melted- Can't find replacement parts.. What an over priced piece of Junk- Don't let the nice looks and little bit of granite fool you.. This was an expensive mistake..

Junk

After 3 years it disintegrated. No parts are available and no one will fix it. Waiting 4 months for greats because master forge doesn't carry and parts (when available) come from a third party. JUNK JUNK JUNK. Try to order parts before you buy or verify local service.

Buyer beware! I purchase the 5-burner modular piece together with sink and refrigerator. Used on patio since 2014 (covered). Today it is junk. POOR QUALITY - the tile is discolored and loose and burners, grates, and interior components have literally disintegrated from rust and the bottom of unit is rusted away. The manufacturer does not have parts. Rated 1-Star because negative 10 stars was not available. PASS ON THE PURCHASE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Not worth the price

I bought this entire kitchen and the refigator was defective and lowes did replace it but it burnt out by the end of the season. The grill may be beautiful to look at but very cheaply made my grates corraded and no replacement parts are sold. Also the grill. Urners stopped igniting needed to uses those long lighters until they just stopped. Working all these and the outkitchen not even 3 years old and covered when notin use and cleaned after every use about 6 times s season. Money wasted in Amin...

Rusted and paint peeling... door hindges rusted closed an bent door when trying to open...expensive garbage ... have the fridge and sink piece as well ... bought all 3 at same time.. always covered ... a lot of Money to be ruined so quickly

Not hot enough

Doesn't gwt anywhere near hot enough for a good charred steak. Dissapointed.

Little Over two years with this grill

First I love the price of the set. For an outdoor kitchen set up, you can beat the price. I installed the set permentaly on our deck with a better faucet, natural gas and a few receptacles on the front. I keep it polished with stainless steel cleaner and it still looks great. The grill heats and cooks great, but it will have some cost for upkeep of the burners and grates. The cast Iron Burners are good for about a year if you cook a lot. But they have an 8year burner warranty and I'm on my secon...

Stay away "NO REPAIR PARTS"

Spent over 2K Looked good for one summer. Went to Lowe's for replacement burners and parts. Lowe's said just order on line. I now have a 2K rusting broken BBQ. Don't buy this unit or tell Lowe's to supply parts !!!!!

Same as many complaints. Poor quality!!! AVOID

Bought it less than 2 years ago. From the beginning started flairing badly. Crates rusted away and look like cheap rusted metal. Replacement crate is $100.00. I feel like buying the EGG for just a few hundred more. I would never recommend this piece of junk to anyone. Please do not spend 1,500 or 2,000 on this like I did.

Corroding stainless steel grates

I had my grill for about 3 years and about 2 years into it my stainless steel grill started to rust. Found new greats through the manufacturer for $19 a piece, but shipping was $32 not very happy about that. Overall I like the grill I was just surprised on the quality of the grates.

poor quality of grill and poor customer service

I bought two master forge grill islands to match as a set as outdoor kitchen. model # BG179A and BG179C from lowe's , they were open box items in store, lowe's sale people promised nothing missing and the grill should works fine. they delivered the items to my home, but they have not been working fine. i hired a plumber to converted and connected the grills with natural gas in my back patio where the builder has natural gas connection. the sealer burner not working, other burners burn a very sm...

EXCELLENT CHOICE

It is the BEST grill I have ever purchased. Very simple to use and you can cook for one or a large crowd. I loved that the covers are included and it fits the grill perfectly. Excellent purchase. In fact, buying the sink portion for Christmas.

Grates rusted out after 1 year

I was very happy when I first received the grill but after 1 year all 4 grates rusted out. I was able to order new grates for a total of one hundred dollars. I see this is a common problem with the grill and do not understand why Master Forge keeps selling the product with substandard grates.

replacement covers

I purchased the 5 burner grill and 3 burner sink about 2 years ago. The vinyl covers are completely destroyed from the sun. I made numerous trips to Lowes to order new covers .....no one can find part #s. I called Master Forge and they don't sell them ....they refered me to " the cover store ". com. Not designed for durability

We purchased a house in south Florida, and negotiated the grill as part of the purchase. It was under an over hang on the lenai, and looked really good. We were told the grill was two years old. Once we bought the house, and fired up the grill, we were shocked to see all four burners were rotted out with rust. One was completely non functional, and virtually all of the internal black enamel has flaked off. I had to brush paint flecks from my first burger cooked on the grill. We contacted Lowes, ...

Master Forge 5-Burner Modular Gas Grill

Small problem but clearly a poor design issue that makes an otherwise very nice grill something I would not recommend. Basically, the two lights inside the grill box have lenses that easily crack. I used the grill for only the third time, and apparently moisture/splatter hits the lenses and causes them to crack. I have written Master Forge requesting a remedy, because replacing the lenses won't solve the problem...

Worst Grill and cannot get parts for repair.

this is a lousy grille. From the start, the Rotisserie burner has never worked, and the burners and grates deterioriated after less than three years. It never gave an even cooking environment. New burners are not available for any of the Master Forge grilles sold in these configurations. Very, very disappointed that Lowe's would carry something like this.
