Damaged Product

This product was damaged and it was the same situation with an exact second purchase. The product was not safe securely wrapped inside of the packaging. I had to spend a lot of time at customer service and was not pleased with the response of the first manager. I had to also spend time returning the product twice. The customer service phone line representative was not helpful.

Great product for remodeling!

I have installed 3 of these units. I like the rigidity of the direct to stud mount. The back wall angles in about 3' to create the space for the full length niche. It creates plenty of tub storage without having to add wire shelves or leave bottles on the edge of tub. you do lose a little bit of width in the space but I feel like it is well worth it. its a great innovative design for something different in the remodel category.

Often returned item for defects

Good concept poor quality control at manufacture had to return unable to install because of so many defects. Store said a lot of them get returned

Terrible design with angled wall

This tub surround has an incredibly stupid design. With the long side wall angling in toward the long shelf you completely lose about three inches of valuable space while taking a shower and the sole benefit is having a long horizontal shelf for soap, shampoo and the like. With a customary surround all walls are 100 % vertical and you get the full amount of space and can simply have a set of shelves tucked in a corner out of the way. I’ve already bought this tub and surround and had it installed...

Do not like the way the shelf looks like it tips a little to the back wall. Saw this on the display at the store, but thought it was just put up quickly. I guess it’s so your hair products don’t slide off. Installed in a new build. Haven’t used it yet.

Looks like a good product, but I haven't installed

It came with the instructions for the shower surround, not the tub surround I purchased. It was not easy to find correct instructions online.

Don't Buy!!!

This tub was purchased after we had had to do a whole redo for the interior of our home. We took accurate measurements and compared to the tub size and walls. When the tub came in and was ready to be installed, it did not fit. We had to cut out our walls to the studs to get this to fit. Not only that, the bathtub is a real downer. Although water doesn't stay sitting in the tub, the hard water we have here turns the tub an orangish color. I'm having to use CLR every other day to keep it loo...

The tilelike look makes it look more expensive than the normal flat plain looking surround kits. The large shelf is cleaner looking and more useful than the smaller corner shelves of so many other models. It is a definite upgrade over my old unit.

Dont trust the reviews!

A lot of negative reviews on this, but we Love it! Its looks great & no chips or dents. Very Sturdy. My ONLY disappointment is that I wish it was deeper, but thats on me.

Bird bath

bought this tub 9 months ago! immediately after installation I hated it. The surround is so tight that you snack your elbow on the wall as you try to bathe. I was scrubbing it the other day and noticed that the marks weren't coming off. upon further inspection I noticed that the tub is chipping. save your money unless you use this for kids only or dont care what the tub ends up looking like. Or use it outdoors as a bird bath.
