Would RecommendWe used it to burn off grass in a gravel driveway. It's not super fast, it's going to use a fair amount of propane, but take your time and it will do the job. Has a high "cool" factor. This may be the only tool your son volunteers to use. Given the lack of restraint typical of the average teenager - watch that sucker like a hawk.

Like the other reviews posted, my unit would not work. I was over the 30 day time limit set by Lowe's for returns before I discovered this unit didn't work. DON'T BUY

won't light or stay lit
Would Not RecommendI have read the instructions and know about the safety valve. I had a hard time getting it going the first time and it went out three time while I was using it. The second time I tried it, it would not work at all. It's going back and I will buy a different brand. Good idea if it worked.

Inferno roulette - will it work today?
Would Not RecommendWorks when it feels like it, turns off when releasing the handle. "Saftey feature". 40$ at harbor freight, weed burner with electric start. Turns to low flame when releasing handle. So much easier then the inferno. Even if the tool was faulty. Lowes did take it back with no hassle or packaging. I am thankful for that.
