Next to useless

Instructions given are to turn the tank vale on and the torch head valve 1/8 turn until a small amount of gas can be heard when the safety lever is depressed and ignite. There is no more adjustment after that. Even with the torch head valve opened wide the torch barely stays lit in no wind conditions. Definitely not worth the money.

Very Dissapointing

Bought this tiki torch to clear some weeds in a flower bed. I tried adjusting the fire control valve and the valve on the propane tank. No matter how much fuel/air ratio adjustment I made, I couldn't produce a large or hot enough flame to get the job done. If it weren't so much trouble, I'd sue Lincoln Electric in small claims court for false advertisement just to get back the gas money I spent on the propane wasted fiddling with this and the trips back and forth to Lowes to return it.

Adjust the tank pressure.

I've never used one of these before and the instructions were a little vague. If you turn the tank on too much, then the torch 'shuts down' and you only get a yellow flame. Turn the tank to barely on and then you get a blue or invisible flame which is much hotter and will certainly burn up some weeds.

I purchased and it did not work at all. Wish I had checked the reviews before I tried to exchanged it. you lit it and it was like a tiki torch (pilot), sqeeze the handle and you have an flame.go out, let off and it goes back to pilot. No matter what I tried, I could not get it to function with the handle already sqeezed, then to get afterburner turn the knob up... let go of the handle and it go out. propane torch

this is supposed to be a propane torch, I could do better with gas and a match, this thing is worthless.... do not waste your money

Light but no heat

Bought a few months but never used until yesterday touch light up but won’t work was told at Lowe’s took it back to exchange would not exchange due to their 90 day policy was told to call the company explain that I purchased it here and it’s does not work. Have purchased a lot of stuff from Lowe now I will buy on line no service at Lowe’s

Difficult to use

This is my second weed torch and I find this one particularly difficult to use. The first thing I noticed is it is very easy to trip the pressure switch on the tank. Next issue is the torch won’t stay lit at low pressure, so when I want to carry the torch and tank a bit, I need to relight the torch. I never had these issues with my first torch, which is the only thing I have to compare this torch to. I’m really not very happy with it and wish I could find my old torch brand/model again.

First time i used it was great. put it away for a couple days and next time i tried to use it no fuel was getting through. Had to fiddle with it for about 40 minutes and got it to work again. Couple days later, same crap. would not recommend!

Stopped working after one day

I bought the torch for burning weeds on my paver patio which has an infinite amount of seams between pavers full of moss and weeds. This thing just blanket covers an entire area in flame which is what i wanted instead of following each and every seam with those tiny "weed torches". Avoid!!!!!

Weak flame. Possible bad unit

Was thinking returning. The “torch” does not work like it should.

Don’t buy

Garbage. Do not buy. Does not work as a torch. Has a light flame that goes up when you point it down towards weeds and can’t burn them.

Think twice

It broke within a few minutes of use. It got an air bubble in the tube. It would light but not torch to burn weeds.
