Love the Level Bolt!

Product works great! Love that we are able to lock and unlock the door even when we aren’t at home. Easy installation too!

Innovative product with easy integration.

The idea of this product is so simple and so easy to use. The design just makes sense! With a few improvements it could be the perfect solution. Response time does not seem as fast as a Schlage smart deadbolt and we had one fail (great warranty support) that was a bit more exposed to the elements. The biggest problem we have had is the range, but that is more a limitation of Bluetooth low energy. Something to extend the range for home kit would be a huge help. Door Lock is First Class

A wonderfully designed and manufactured product meeting expectations. I use the product with Apple Homekit and find it to be very consistent in its operation. It is a fantastic smart device. The Level Bolt iOS application is a good product.

Good. But could be better.

I like the convenience of not having to dig for my keys and find the right one- especially with young kids and carrying in bags. Whereas my phone is always easily accessible. However, the app stopped working for one of our doors and we’ve had to switch to the apple home app. Also, the ability to program it to Auto Unlock when within a certain distance doesn’t seem to work all that well. I 99% of the time have to pull out my phone to lock/unlock the door.

It just works

I've been using it for years and it's since paid for itself with convenience. My door has Schlage hardware and looks normal to the naked eye, but the ability to remotely open the door has proved extremely convenient many times.

Great Unobtrusive Design, Slow Response Times

Incredible industrial design and solid battery life. The only choice if you want the functionality of a smart lock without having to change the whole lock or add an ugly box to the door interior. The only downside is the choice to use Bluetooth which is very slow, especially when using HomeKit, sometimes it can be quicker to just lock it manually which defeats the purpose. I understand the small size of the device probably rules out using WiFi, but hopefully they’ll add Thread support in future ...

Excellent Product With Minor Compromises

Excellent design. Completely invisible. Durable and lasts forever on a battery. Missing some key features like NFC, Thread, fingerprint unlock and Apple Home Key.

Still one of the best HomeKit locks

Reliable but will still unlock door on auto setting if you come inside home through an alternate door.

Good lock

HomeKit integration is not good. Siri is hit or miss

Very decent

This lock is easy to install. Works fairly well. Sometimes it takes a min for it to read current state properly on my phone. For most part it works fine. I do like my other brand better. But not unhappy with this lock

Performing ok with Level App but slow on HomeKit

The lock does perform fine with the level app but performance with HomeKit with this lock is horrible. From clicking on the lock in the home app until it opens takes 10 to 20 seconds. Other devices in the same homes are responsive within 1-3 seconds. The performance on all 5 locks I have, in different homes is equally slow and very frustrating.

Awesome Smart Deadbolt

This a a great lock. Works flawlessly with HomeKit. Totally hidden so you can use your own hardware. Highly recommend.

Great product. Invisible installation. Excellent battery life and reliable operation. The level bolt lets you keep your existing hardware, so you don’t need to install one of the less than attractive options floating around the market.

About 1 year in

Has worked seamlessly since I installed. I have to change the battery soon but it has been in for months. This experience has been been markedly better than the August lock I had on the doir before

Flawless and hidden.

Flawless for nearly 2 years, highly recommend. Have used August device prior which was first Gen product so larger and consumed more power. Level is hands down a better product.

Ok but needs work

Wish it had thread. Bluetooth takes forever to lock and unlock

Level lock is the best auto lock

Best automatic lock I own I have both kevo ( which works on Bluetooth and wifi) my preference is the level lock For speed and battery life. I connect it to my Apple HomeKit through home pod so I can use it when I’m away.
