Great looks, decent connectivity
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used bolt in multiple homes and doors. In my previous home, I had to replace the deadbolt because it was an older model that was too deep. My new home didn’t have that issue and only required a bit of adjustment on the strike plate. You can’t beat the hidden look and battery life has been +18 months. Good design that you don’t see
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that it’s not visible from the exterior and have Apple HomeKit support. Good design is what works with what you already have and seamlessly integrate into your home.

Awesome lock
Would RecommendWorks really well. Easy to install. I love this device since I get to keep my Schlage deadbolts and you can’t even tell they are electronic or smart. Battery life is really good. I have an older home and the door frame swells a little with high humidity. On those days I would sometimes have trouble with lock/unlock until I added some screws to the frame to hold it better.

Dependable quality
Would RecommendLove this lock ! We have it installed in a gate just past our front door. It's so great to not have to go out there and lock and unlock the gate. Dependable, and elegant !

Best and most reliable lock so far
Would RecommendOne of the best locks I have installed. Tried other major brands compatible with Apple's Home App and find this to be the best working, best reliable and well hidden lock. Bought my first one when they were first offered and my last one late 2020. Working flawlessly to date.

Great with old doors, wish it were in Canada
Would RecommendIt’s great and reliable. It was great to retrofit our old house and have our existing lock. The only knock is that you need to be careful with older doors as if there are problems with the seal it can get stuck. And the other knock is this ain’t sold in Canada! I had to get it freight forwarded here!

Good but two missing features
Would RecommendWorks well and good battery life, but it needs a built in sensor to tell if the door is closed and they need a version with HomeKey support.

Stands the Test of Time
Would RecommendThe lock has worked flawlessly since I've had it. They even added a feature or two that wasn't there when I originally purchased it. The hidden nature of the lock is much more aesthetically pleasing than knobby, clunky August lock I also have. Would definitely purchase again and may replace the other lock at some point.

Love bolt, but no joy syncing bluetooth memory.
Would RecommendLove your Bolt but not able to sync to bluetooth to memory. Each time, bluetooth is turned on, bolt needs to be rediscovered.

Would RecommendI like that it integrates into my existing lock. It’s gotten better, but I’ve had inconsistent results when accessing. It should work 100% of the time.

Would Not RecommendLove the concept and hardware but the software integration with Apple HomeKit is it’s weakness. Disappointing we can’t use it as intended.

Toss Up On Approach
Would RecommendI wish it would always work when I approach my door. Best integration into a lock out there, but really wish I could rely on it to be responsive to my phone proximity. I would also like to see it work with my Apple Watch proximity.

Not Reliable
It worked well at the beginning and I loved the idea that it did not look like a smart lock. But in terms of daily use it is not reliable and don’t leave your hose without your keys.. at this point there is a 50/50 chance the app will unlock my door and I’m back to using my keys
