Dryer works just fine

After about 1 month of usage, the dryer is working perfect. I did have some issues trying to find a good hot air exhaust pipe to fit this due to it being close to the wall and offset from the exit connection. Ended up using my old periscope pipe due to it being smaller. The original one I purchased (0 to 18") had the overhang go out too far into the path of the washer sitting to the right of it. Also the periscope I did use interfered with the steam water line hook-up so I did not connect. ...

Space saver

great dryer!

We absolutely love this new set we bought a few months ago.

Good on medium heat, but not low heat.

I'm happy with drying bedding and permanent press. The notifications to app and Amazon Alexa are nice. But I was disappointed that the only cycle that allowed setting the temperature to low was "delicate", which did not adequately dry heavier items labelled for "low heat" (hoodies, polo shirts, etc.), even when I set the dryness level to "Very Dry". I always end up having to run a second, manual timed cycle to finish drying.

Performs Well

Unit performs well. Our only disappointment is the length of time for a drying cycle. Had the dryer vents professionally cleaned, and still requires about an hour for a normal load. One nice feature is the error code informing us the dryer vents needed cleaning. We like the steam cycle option, though you shouldn't expect this to remove all wrinkles Don't see much value in the wi-fi option. Overall, very pleased with purchase

A workhorse!

No complaints here... this dryer works hard and efficiently. I have yet to test all the settings, but I find the auto steam feature a huge plus! It has very good capacity and ease of use, especially with the pesestal!

Wrinkle Reducer !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did not realized how much longer my old dryer was taking. This one drys quickly and at acceptable temperature. Closes not wrinkled at end of cycle. Steam worked wonders!

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the features of this dryer like the WiFi and steam setting. It is a real life saver when you leave the laundry too long and it gets wrinkles. You can easily turn that setting on and 10 minutes later it’s like nothing happened.

Excellent but paint inside peeling

I have this dryer for 2 years. It works great. Dries clothing well. Only problem is that the paint inside the door started to peel.

Good product undermined by LG's installation team

Good product undermined by LG's installation team. The product itself probably deserves 5 stars. The installation team was appalling. The re-installation team was not much better. The product was not leveled, and the team walked away with the leveling wrench supplied with the product. They tramped dirt in and didn't clean up. Their hands dirtied the laundry walls and the product. They didn't know how to install to one side or other of the available space. The second team worked this out. ...

Disappointed.

Purchased 11 mo. ago. Experienced a problem. Dryer would not stop running after cycle completed. Waiting on repair for about a week now. Process has not been that smooth. Discovered that sometimes it will work okay, other times not. Have to unplug it after every use. We are waiting on a new motherboard. Otherwise, I like the dryer.

Nice but gives error

The only thing that I don't love about the dryer is that it does not go through an entire cycle without asking to remove the lint. It always gives the same error of D80. We cleaned out the pipe before we had it installed and even had the installers come back to check the connection. Sometimes there is the tiniest bit of lint. When i saw that other people had this issue, I realized that the machine was sensitive.

Sleek, Beautiful Dryer

great buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we purchased this dryer along with a new LG washer about 1 month ago. We are very pleased with both. We were replacing a pair of LG washer and dryer which we have had for 13 years. This dryer does a great job of drying the clothes and bulky items like comforters. The old dryer was still leaving items damp and was starting to make noise like the rollers need to be replaced. The new dryer is very quiet

Great Machines

To have so many options built in on both is a blessing. You don't have to guess how to wash or dry anything that fits those. Really is one of the best things we have purchased recently.

Don't buy it!

If I could rate this a 0, I would. Got A BRAND NEW one and BRAND NEW duct/coil setup and have done Everything possible to try and get this junk working. It hasn't and won't run a load without erroring out on something that isn't an issue. PLEASE listen to me when I say stay FAR away from LG Dryers. And if you don't believe me then research it yourself. So many people are having the same issues. It's the WORST purchase I've ever made..
