What Customers Are Saying
The LG electric dryer offers efficient and fast drying capabilities, handling large loads and bulky items well. Customers appreciate the quiet operation and modern design. The appliance provides useful smart features like Wi-Fi connectivity and specialized cycles, though some find the numerous settings and cycles overwhelming initially. While a minority of users have reported issues with sensor drying and lint trap design, the dryer generally performs very well for most owners.

Awful. Don’t pay for set up. They didn’t do it, did not leave the necessary parts that come with the dryer - the drain hose, which is kind of critical for a ventless dryer. Support tells you to take it up with the manufacturer. Well, the manufacturer didn’t deliver the thing - Lowe’s delivery did.
Zero LG support
Hasn’t worked from minute one. LG support is time consuming, frustrating then just when you think you might have a solution they disconnect you. No idea if this dryer is worthwhile or not since I can’t use it and LG won’t help.
Not so great
⭐☆☆☆☆ This dryer has had drying performance issues since installation. Despite proper setup and troubleshooting, clothes remained damp after full cycles and airflow-related warnings appeared repeatedly. The unit seems unusually sensitive to vent configuration, making installation and operation more difficult than expected. Overall, a frustrating experience for a new appliance.

Horrible! Lint backs up onto dryer door
Dryer makes knocking noise and lint backs up onto dryer door and gasket. When you open the door debris falls out everywhere and is stuck on the gasket, that I have to brush off myself and clean that mess up as well. Techs tell me it’s because of my exhaust duct is too long. Specifications state I can have up to 36ft, I have 20ft with 3 elbows. All within the range. LG tells me it’s not a common problem and they don’t know what to do. Refuses to replace my dryer. Techs just check pressure and bla...

The permanent press cycle only runs for 2 minutes. The other settings turn off before clothes are dry.

Energy efficient and quiet as can be
Had this dryer installed last week and it was the first heat pump dryer install for the technicians but they were very conscientious and did an excellent job. We have a very closed-in space so the fact that these dryers don't need venting lends more room for placing and removing clothes as well. It does take longer to dry but is gentler on clothes and uses much less energy than our old electric dryer. It will take a little time to manage the cycle parameters and drying length to get the most out...
