Quiet and reliable, not toddler ready

The decals on the control panel rub off

The printed decals on the control panel rub off eventually and make the machine virtually inoperable. Called into LG and they claimed they could not do anything about it. I am sure I am not the only customer who has had this particular problem with the printed decals. Obviously the ink or the process they use to install the decals are defective. I bought this washer in Sept 2018, after about 19 months (warranty 1 year) the washer started making pounding when in the spin cycle. Have now found out the machine was lacking washers to properly hold the lower weight on the machine therefore the screws snapped off (see photos). Trying to get it repaired through LG with representatives in the Philippines has been a very frustrating experience. I would not purchase this front loading washing machine.

Spin Cycle does not work and it's just 2 years old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine just two years ago and it already needs a major repair. The only problem is, I've had three people come to service this machine -- paying each $100+ for the service call and they can't find anything wrong. It can only spin if there are 5 or less articles of clothes in it. Don't waste your money!!!! Last LG product I will buy.

Worked great for 1 1/2 years...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get the upside down/backwards F and a 3 code after about 2 minutes into a cycle. I thought maybe it was a balance issue, so I redistributed. Didn't fix it. I unplugged it for 30 seconds and tried to start a cycle again. Didn't fix it. I unplugged it overnight. Didn't fix it. I pressed the start button for 10 seconds while it was unplugged. Didn't fix it. Finally called a repairman. He said to buy a new washing machine. WHAT THE HEC...

Constantly having to readjust the load to spin

Love the steam function!

This machine blows my old one out of the water! The capacity is much larger and it's so much faster than my old one. And my items cone out much cleaner!

Great Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase this front loader about a month ago to replace a washer (similar model) that was 10 years old. The old washer needed a drain pump and we determined it was worthwhile to purchase a new washer rather then put money into an old one.We love thug front loader.

this washer is terrible

We bought this washer and it is the worst thing I ever bought! It doesn't wash well and you have to drain it every time your done washing our it will stink!

Fantastic Washer!

Great Features, Easy to operate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When looking to purchase a new washer, I looked at LG, I was happy with our LG television and LG DVD player. So I looked to LG for other appliances and I liked the appearance and easy understanding of the electronic application of the washer, as well as the compliment of a sidekick pedestal for it, which I did purchase a few months after I bought our LG front loader. I'm very happy with our LG waser.
