Better than I expected

Great washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this washer for just over two years I have 4 kids and two dogs I wash everything in this washer pillows blankets and big heavy dirty loads of clothing I use the steam option with my brother and laws clothes who has really bad b.o. and the clothes come out with no bad smell absolutely love this machine no complaints

Horrible warranty service

Our 15 month old washer broke 11/21 and we have been trying to get it fixed under warranty since there is a service bulletin out on the problem. There is a defective bolt that broke and did extensive damage to the washer. If LG would have spent a few cents on a washer for the bolt this never would have happened. We have been trying to get this fixed and customer service is horrible. At the moment we are waiting 7-10 business days for the resolution dept to come up with a decision. Don't buy LG! ...

Love it.. clothes are clean

Have been using for 3 months, clothes cone out clean and almost dry due to spin cycle. No complaints thus far!!

1.4 years old and 2 major parts are broken

purchased at Lowes 1.4 years ago. Service Technician confirmed: Drain pump impeller snapped and both tub shocks are completely worn out. This is not a durable machine and we have been receiving unbalanced load codes after it was a few months old. Extra load capacity machine that cannot handle the larger loads. Get the extended Warranty

Our bearings are also shot at 2 yrs!!!

Our washer started to vibrate violently a couple of weeks ago at 2 years and 2 months into ownership. Our repairman confirmed the bearings are shot, which repair cost totals the machine. Called LG who claims bearings aren’t covered by the warranty on the drum and motor. I’m interested to see at least one other poster with this same experience. 2 years is an unacceptable life for a washer, especially from a company like LG! I will also be pursuing this further with the company!

Great features except that it's NOT stackable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It says it's stackable, but it's NOT. When you stack the dryer on top of it, which I did, the detergent dispenser is no longer accessible. Makes me sick, because there's nothing I can do now but use the HE detergent pods. It cost a fortune to get the dryer installed on top of it, and there's nothing I can do now. Yep, I'm just sick about it.

Bearings Failed after 2 Years

The bearings failed after just over 2 years of using this washing machine. It has been a nightmare trying to get LG to recognize that this is an unacceptable level of quality from a washing machine. After over a month of dealing with LG, we're still dealing with them, and it is getting louder and louder after every use. Is it too much to ask for a washing machine to work for at least 5 years? I was expecting 10 or so. 2 is completely unacceptable.

Very good and not so good......

I bought this washing machine ( and matching dryer) in May of 2018. The washing machine itself works great. The problem I have with it is this: The lettering on the front panel is smearing off. (I don't use abrasive cleaners on it, only a soft cloth). My fear is that in the not too distant future I am not going to know which cycle I'm selecting. I have NEVER seen this happen before (seems like a design flaw of some sort)... I am still trying to have this resolved with the service departmen...

Writing wipes off display, buttons hard to read,

I contacted LG and was told it was probably due to CHEMICAL CLEANERS I was using - I don't use chemical cleaners to wipe of the washing machine. not satisfied

I bought this front load washer and matching dryer in the fall of 2018. Since I had used a front loader for the past 20 years I didn't think there would be any surprises. This stacked combo is very noisy, vibrates and bounces. Apparently the spin cycles don't get the clothes dry enough because I have water accumulating around the dryer door which then runs down the front of the machine when the door is opened.

EXCELLENT WASHER!

Very efficient, excellent in all types of loads and washing cycles especially sanitary! I have 2 disabled boys and do between 4-6 loads a day ! This machine has really been put through the ringer between bedding, pillows, comforters let alone daily clothing. I have not found anything that this machine can’t handle! EXCELLENCE, pure and simple!

Broke after 2.5 years

I bought this in August of 2016, or 2 1/2 years ago. A few months ago, it started vibrating violently, so that our entire house would shake. In addition, clothes would not fully dry. I paid $130 to an appliance repair specialist to come out to look at it, and he diagnosed two issues: 1. The concrete counterweight had totally broken off the front of the washing machine. 2. Not very good

the set look nice and it runs well. doesn't get clothes clean. vibrates even tough it's be balanced numerous times. cant use ios iphone for tag on. what;s the point of this thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this washer just over a year ago, very happy i did. wash times are cut about in half and still cleans great. being able to wash big loads cuts down on how many loads i have to lug up and down stairs as i have parkinsons. love how its extremely quiet. so happy with it that when i needed a new dryer i went with an LG. {and im happy about that too}

Noisy

Will Never Buy A Front Loader Again, Horrible Odor

We bought this machine one year ago. In the beginning if worked well, although I never felt our laundry was as clean as our previous older Whirlpool model. I made sure to follow all care instructions for this machine. I always left the door open between loads, drained the bottom at least once a week, ran the tub cleaning cycle once a week also, and wiped out the inner rings with bleach water. I made sure to not use too much detergent, to use the right kind of detergent, to not make my loads too...

Broken tub in 18 months!!!

This unit really washes clothes well. It also looks sleek and comes with many options for washing clothes. The good ends there. Ours made the most awful banging sound and then started leaking everywhere. Upon investigation, we found one of the weights on the tub had broken its mounts and fallen inside the unit.
