It has worked great but recently the light inside burned out, and the lighted numbers on the outside are affected too. To change the light bulb I would need to take off the entire outside casing off the microwave, and then mess with parts inside. Way too much could go wrong!

Technology and Value

We like the inverter technology and the sensor heating.. We can now successfully defrost meat in our microwave.

My LG Microwave
Bought my LG a few weeks ago after my 2nd GE model in 2 years died after the warranty expired. The 1st GE model died 2 months before it's warranty expired and the company reimbursed me for it's replacement. For me, 2 strikes and your out. Love the features of the LG with the exception of the "Popcorn Button". Maybe I'm not performing the function correctly but cannot pop corn using this feature. Only operates for approximately 25 seconds before function completes and shuts down. Have to manually...

Update and upgrade

Doesn't last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Poor quality. Ours is two years old and the button to open the door broke off. It's made of very cheap small plastic clips holding it. You don't have to be a mechanical engineer to see that it is another product made for the landfill. LG was supposed to be rescuing their reputation but I guess not.
