Solid Dishwasher

Bought this after Thanksgiving to replace a 13 year old dishwasher that was starting to fail. Easy to use, nice features, cleans the dishes thoroughly, love the 3rd rack! Cycles just take a long time - best to kick it off at night. If need something during the day run the Turbo wash.

Good Dishwasher, negative on the app

I bought this Dishwasher at the end of November, 2024. It is great at washing dishes. Be aware, if you have an iPhone, the app connects to the dishwasher via an Android device only.

Garbage

Don't buy this , It won't last 2 years without expensive repairs. The rinse dispenser leaks all the rinse aid out as soon as your pour it in. You have a I think 1 year waranty mine was leaking a little and then leaks it all out right after 2 years. This is a big problem and they know it. I only use it 2 times a week. Don't bother buying any new dishwasher because they're all garbage and we stupid americans keep buying this junk. My old dishwasher lasted 28 years.

Does a Good Job

I’ve had the dishwasher for about 2.5 years. I am very happy with its performance. It isn’t the quietest but is quiet enough. It does a very good job cleaning. I have no complaints.

Best thing ever

WE bought is dishwasher as part of our kitchen remodel. It's been the best thing we have installed. The options and features are out standing. The 3rd shelf is great.

It’s a Lemon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher malfunctions easily. Poor design allows moisture into control panel and causes the machine to shut off without completing the wash. STAY AWAY FROM LG BRAND PRODUCTS.

Not a good product.

Starting receiving an HE error code after 2 years and now it will only work on the turbo mode. This dishwasher has the heater element integrated to the motor which is ridiculous. No warranty for this large and expensive component and my only choices are to either pay more money than it's worth to have a tech. look at the product or repair it myself. I have all LG appliances and the displays on the oven and microwave stopped working at the 1.5 year mark. I have already had to replace the oven...

Peeling and rusting upper rack

Upper rack is peeling and rusting. Reading reviews shows this is a common problem. Is LG doing anything to help customers with this? How do we get it replaced asap?

Upper rack rusting out

Upper rack on LDF5545BB top coat is peeling and rack is rusting. While Visiting my mom, I noticed her dishwasher upper rack is ruined, and reading reviews, it seems like a common problem. Is LG doing anything about it? How do we get her a new one asap?

Not a good experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this dishwasher installed on November 21 and it worked exactly 17 days before breaking down. I’ve had it repaired once the repair did not even last today and I can’t seem to get anybody out here in any expeditious manner. It won’t be until January 3 before someone comes out to look at it which means this dishwasher will be at least 6 to 7 weeks old and I was only able to use it for 17 days

Do not purchase

Great at washing dishes. The app - not so much

I love the dishwasher and would have given it 5 stars but the connection to the phone app is really lacking. I cannot get it to connect and therefore do not have access to the downloaded option nor any of the service updates (such as notifying me when the rinse aid is low). However I bought the dishwasher to wash dishes and it does a great job at that. Really like the 3rd rack.

Cleans really well

Decent dishwasher, but not long lasting

The dishwasher works as expected. Dishes come out clean. Filter is easy to clean. The control panel on the outside is very inconvenient as machine is accidentally turned on constantly. After 2 years of use, it is already having issues.
