Poor

Now 6 years old had many repairs, now computer board failed burning smell through out the house. Next one will not be LG.

Solid machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great washer. Just don’t put detergent bottle on top or it will make rust spots in the paint.

Poor durability

Purchased in 2017, needed to replace in 2021 due to bearing on rotor. In spin cycle sounded like an airplane was taking off in our laundry room. Cost of repair poor too great to justify.

Great features, but front loading washes have room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved in with the unit already installed. After a month, we had an issue with leaky values that went unnoticed, which caused a bit of water damage. The issue was easily fixed via warranty. Great high tech and energy efficient features. However, even after deep cleaning, it seems impossible to mitigate the smell. This applies generally to front loading washers, but for now I have no other complaints with this model.

Strong Odor

My biggest issue is the odor (more like a sewage smell) left behind after a wash. WE regularly clean and dry the tub as well as tub wash once a month. Regardless, the odor persists. Had an LG serviceman come out and he could not identify the source.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about 5 years ago and did fairly well. But unfortunately got much more use during COVID and the shaft broke down. Repair was going to cost more than the machine so we had to buy a new machine. If I had the extended warranty would not have been concerned. Really did love this machine and its performance.

Washes well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only downside is the rubber gasket has so many crevices that if you don’t completely air out and pat dry after every wash, mold will build up. We had to replace our gasket because mold toxic and impossible to clean.

To fall in love with!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, quiet while running, but did not expect that the motor would break right after 5-year mark. Could not get repair covered under warrantee, and likely, motor is covered for 10-years, with out of pocket cost for labor and tech visit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this to replace the same washer was only 5 years old but had broke. Appliance guy said they LG's don't work well if you fill them with heavy towels. I have reduced the amount of towels, will see how long this one lasts, so far so good.

LG Washer

Second time out of warranty, hope it continues working without problems. I should have bought the extended warranty Washes well, wish itdidnt need so much service

Some good some bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had problems with soap remaining in tub after completed wash (several times), spinning cycle not drying,movement, noise. If I did not have the extended warranty, I would not be happy

Love this Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works perfectly, super clean clothes. We did have to replace the pump after 5 years but that was a 20 min fix.

Lots of Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer to replace an old Sears model two years ago. It has a 10 year motor warranty. Bought the extended warranty which has another 2 years left. Has functioned superbly. Has lots of settings. I only use a couple, though. Don't have a need to use the others so in that sense its over-engineered for me, but then the old washer had settings I didn't use either.
