Did not realize that this washer was discontinued. Everything seems to function well. About how long was the washer discontinued?

Great washer!

We've owned our LG WM3170CW front-loading washer for 10 years now. We haven't had a single issue or problem during this time. It still runs and cleans just as it did when brand new.

Very Good Dryer

Good Dryer, I like the settings and high heat. I also like the look of it. Would have given it 5 stars if it made it to the 10 year mark. We are a small family and mostly use it on the weekends. I know many people with large families who use their dryers every single day and they last 10 years or more. Too expensive to fix. Bought a similar model LG to replace the broken one.

Long-time owner who just used the 10 year warranty

I purchases this washer in 2016 and it has been very good to us. We just had our first issue with it and it was covered by the 10 year warranty.

Replacement Bearings

Disappointed that LG does not maintain replacement bearings for the washer. A washing machine should last more than 9 years.

Draining issue

Bad Drain Pump

It works well, but the drain pump is bad. Most people I know who own this (actually 100% of them) have had to replace the pump.

Tremendous washing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My washer is now over 10 years old. Has been washing clothes almost non stop. My family grew immensely because we became adoptive parents of less fortunate kids 28 in total during the time this machine was owned. I inherited the washer once the parents moved to a smaller home after retirement

LG Washing Machine

The washer has broken down twice since I purchased it. It is not a good product. I've owned several washers and never had problems with them. The LG washer is supposedly more advanced than my previous washers yet has cost me hundreds of dollars in repairs and countless hours of inconvenience. I'm a parent with two small children so a non-functioning washing machine is a big problem. I decided to replace the washer instead of spending more money on repairs again.

Works well, little loud

I bought this a couple months ago and everything works well just like our old one that we were replacing. The only weird thing is this newer model is louder than the older model which wasn’t to be expected but other than that it washes clothes.

I am happy with the product but I need my parts to repair my washer. Not sure if they have ever been ordered?? My family need the use of our washer asap.

Pump breaks and smells build up

In 8 years, I have had to replace the pump 3 times, the first time naturally outside my warranty window. And despite always, always, always leaving the door open after a cycle, the mold buildup around the door and smell with the drum is disgusting. I will never buy a front load washer or an LG anything again.

GREAT HELP IN FIXING MY WASHER PROBLEM

I had a load of clothes, in my washer, and it would not spin enough to put the clothes in the dryer. The water would not drain. The agent, that helped me, that was so kind and patient. She sent me a set of instructions telling me how to drain the water, from the washer, then clean the filter. I did it, and it worked right away. It saved me money from having a repair person to come and do this. THANKS TO THIS AGENT!!!!
