Buyer beware

I own another LG product which has served me well. Unfortunately the new front load washer I purchased recently, has not. From the initial load we washed in that machine we have had an issue with the spinning cycle. Essentially the drum runs in the machine and causes a loud vibration within the washer. lt was suggested by the LG repairman who came recently after my complaints, that the load was probably unbalanced. Of course he didn’t bother to run a load of clothes to hear and see the problem....

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

DO NOT BUY/SUPPORT!!! If something is to go wrong with your unit there is ZERO support and you cant get on the phone with anyone who can help resolve the issue. Basically talking to programed robots. I am so very disappointed in the customer service of LG! My dryer that I have had for under two years completely exploded. Dryer sensor is awful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I could rate this a zero star I would. The dryer sensor is garbage. I can’t dry a full load properly without it prematurely shutting off. It takes me a whole day to do a load of laundry as a busy working mom. Tried all the troubleshooting I could find on the web. So frustrating.

Hope my new LG washer works as well as the customer service and delivery! Called store, got helpful info. Followed up with same day visit, met person I'd spoken to, and puchased washer with no hassle or attempt to upsale. Next day delivery was on-time, with realtime tracking, text updates and phonecall before delivery. Machine quiet and fit well in small space. First thing I did was disable sound (press EXTRA RINSE and PRE-WASH buttons at the same time for 3 seconds) to stop that dang music...

Delivery refused install

The listing says that install is included in delivery, but I had to call afterward to make a separate appointment with Lowes. The delivery team claimed they don't do installs. I feel misled about the process.

DO NOT BUY! Not worth the price and hassle.

DO NOT BUY! It will stop working properly within a few months. It's a high-maintenance machine, and all the agents will say to "help" is that it may be this because you are not doing that. Others have commented on a manufacturing issue with this machine, including condensation in the lint catcher that must be dry to work properly. The price tag, high maintenance, and lag of help on issues are not worth the price you will pay for your time, effort, and waste of money.

Lowe's Delivery Service

This review is for Lowe's delivery service. I chose a delivery window of 8am-12pm on a Saturday for delivery. I heard nothing by 11:30am so I called the delivery phone number and was told I was bumped to be the last delivery (18th) of the day at 8pm. They expected me to wait 12 hours on a Saturday for delivery. They stated it was a glitch with their computer system. So far it seems superior to the stackable 24' GE makes. It's only been a few weeks now, but our GE had so many problems I couldn't put more money into it.

Although it's compact it holds a lot!

My first time owning a front loading washing machine. Front loading washing machines take longer to complete a wash cycle, however, they are gentler on clothing and use less water. I am very happy with the machine. Even though it is considered compact/closet size, I am able to wash 7 pairs of mens jeans.

Do not buy appliances from Lowes, espc. Honolulu

Lowes delivered a severely beat up Lg washer. They blamed it on the delivery people but I saw them unpack the washer and saw that there were no damage marks on the box. Very suspicious.
