Generally really great, minor inconveniences

Heat up real well and even with less time than my old microwave. The only negatives are needing to press the side button while pressing the open button. Its an unnecessary step and hard for younger children, taking away their independence. doesnt have quick one button time options which i founs very convenient jn other models. And the buttons require longer harder pressing than om used to.

Beware of "door" messages

I would have given it a 0 if that was allowed. This microwave has never worked. Every time I touch the Start button, a "door" error message shows (and then disappears). The light goes on, but nothing else happens. I have been through LG's troubleshooting, and was promised in Live Chat that a service person would call me, but 5 days later, I have never received a call.

No mess microwave

This microwave heats food more evenly and results in less splatter making it super easy to clean. It is also easy to use.

Great replacement

This is a great replacement for our former microwave. It has all the features we needed.

It got some better reviews than I just gave it.

it is not as well built than the same model from 5 years ago. It makes noises the other didn't and moisture builds up inside while heating. It also has a fog or smoke color coming out from it when opening the door after heating.

Watch out for reheat

Great size and reliable operation

This unit was a 1-4-1replacement for a 7 year old unit - due to the unique size requirement for the in cabinet structure. This new unit has updated controls that are much more simple. Hopefully the LED lights will last long than the last unit, which was the only reason it had to be replaced, when we could no longer read the display.

Great value for a basic microwave oven.

This is a simple to use, no frills, economical microwave oven. It seems to be very good quality. This will probably work well for the average user who doesn't need a lot of specialized features.

Nothing to do other than plug it in. Nice interior. Heats. Relatively quiet.

Child safety lock

I was beginning to not like this purchase due to the child safety lock feature. It was very frustrating trying to operate. But then read the instructions and found you can actually disable it with just a twist of the side push button with a screwdriver. Much better! Makes it so much easier to push just one button instead of two in order to open the door.
