Not loving this “new” neochef version

We bought this microwave to replace the old LG 1.5 cf countertop microwave we had for 10 years and it finally died. It was awesome and we loved it. It was quiet and cooked the food perfectly and was easy to open and close and fit in our space. The new neochef is so loud! Like an airplane getting ready for takeoff. If I put my hand on the door it gets a bit quieter. The new 5 point tray wheel is horrible. There are 3 wheels and 3 square pieces that drag along, and the plate sits up too high. Also...

Heats up fast!

I have been using this microwave for almost a month. For the most part it is working just fine. There is a kind of rattle when the turn table is moving. It may only be a loose fit. It is just an annoying sound.

Bad Noise, Not Normal

I selected this microwave based on reviews from Consumer Reports, which said that its quietness was rated "excellent". However, the one I got is remarkably noisy. I wouldn't mind the whoosh of a fan, but this thing has a major vibration. You can hear it. You can feel it on the back of the unit. Some rotating component, like a fan, is off balance. I'm returning it, but I think I will give the same model another chance.but I think I will give the same model another chance.

Good microwave

So far so good. We have had it about a month and it has worked out just fine. No kids in our house so we took a screwdriver to the side and disabled the child lock. I can say that even with the lock in place it opens nicely.

Circuit overload without reasons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I concur with Nana146 on the circuit overload. The spec has 10.4 Amp power. We require to have arc flash breaker, so we put in 20 Amp arc flash breaker for the microwave. It overloads the circuit FIVE times in two runs in one day. On average, it overloads the circuit once a week. It will be in the basement soon enough. This is the second one we trade in. Circut overload

Deffective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased similar model. Microwave arrived defective and I was promised a refund months ago. I have called LG 11 times. 7 times I was promised a callback which never happened. I do not know how to resolve this issue.

A huge upgrade for us
