Coord length issues
Would RecommendTwo issues in an otherwise nice microwave oven. 1. Cord length. Shorter than my Panasonic, which died. Am in process of getting an appliance-rated 3 ft extension cord. Need probably 4 inches to plug in correctly. Beware of your outlet placement. 2. As others have stated, the control panel is very dark. Makes the oven look nice until you have to press the buttons. Can LG fix this? And the cord length. I would have given it all 5's otherwise. Quiet, lights up interior nicely, not noisy.

EMERSON microwave from 2008 recently went out. Purchased this lg 1.5cu smart inverter microwave and warmed my first hot pocket to a brick. 1:50 is the heating time I used for my hot pockets with my old microwave and sometimes the meat inside would have cold spots. Warmed up another hot pocket with the power level set to 7. Results? Zero cold spots in my hot pocket, soft edges on the crust and no burnt spots. Just a beautiful heated hot pocket. Disappointing. Overheats and Burns.
Sensor heat worked, twice and now it consistently overheats even simple beverages to the point that you can't even pick up the mug. The popcorn setting also burned the popcorn. Never had that happend in 20 years with my previous microwaves. Disappointing.

poor lights, extra step to open door
This microwave has 1 weak blue-ish light in the top to illuminate your food. I place an opaque silcone cover over a mixing bowl to boil water. No chance of seeing the water boil as the inside of the microwave appears black with this use case. There is an extra step of pressing a button the same time as the latch to open the door of the microwave - way too complicated!
