What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally viewed as a helpful tool that simplifies the process of cutting and installing crown molding. Many found it made the task much easier, with accurate cuts and a straightforward setup. The angle measurement tool was particularly praised for its effectiveness. However, some users encountered issues with the jig's stability and ability to accommodate larger or longer pieces. A few felt it had limitations and was not a "miracle device" that solved all challenges. Overall, the consensus is that the product is a useful tool, especially for DIY projects, but may have some limitations depending on the specific requirements.

Would RecommendLowes sold me an open product with stripped screws at regular price. I think it's still usable as I just picked up the item but will exchange it at another location because it was the last one and I really wanted to try it as I'm a newbie with crown. It was an online pick up order. Item was previously returned without an inspection.
Great little tool to have
Would RecommendNice little cutter, helps with angles. Makes a smooth job

Simplifies crown molding
Would RecommendEasy to follow instructions. Makes most of the guess work out of cutting crown molding. But the cutoff piece can catch the saw blade and fling it

Does not fit 5” crown molding.
Would Not RecommendI used a 5”x5” crown molding on this, and it wouldn’t fit. This says up to 5.5”. False advertising
Consistently Position the crown on the jig
Would RecommendI'm a big fan of Kreg and have several of their products. This works but unfortunately there is no sure way to lock in the same position for each piece of molding. You have to press the back to the cradle and ensure it does not slip. Unfortunately I made a couple of cuts that were not 45 degrees for outside corners and my inability to holding it in the same position for each cut resulted in mismatched corners.

Typically love Kreg products Not This One
Would Not RecommendGood intentions by Kreg team, but too small and light for practical purposes. If you have a 4 x4 foot room it will work as advertised. Any crown molding of typical length makes this tool pretty much useless and a waste of money/time. I didn’t want to be responsible for wasting someone else’s time so I threw it in the trash rather than giving it away.
Great jig
Would Recommendthis jig cuts out any of the guess work when it comes to cutting crown! Perfect joints every time.
Not their best work
Would Not RecommendKreg has some innovative and wonderful woodworking tools and jigs. Unfortunately the Crown Pro is not one of them. I found this jug to be large, bulky, and difficult to use. The angle measurement tool is very flimsy but gives accurate readings when used carefully. The Crown Pro is not ready for prime time, but could be a beta version for future improvement.

100% needed for cutting crown molding correctly
Would RecommendWorks well. Angle adjustment could be better

Does not support workpiece very well
Would Not RecommendI had a negative experience using this jig. The end of the trim is not well-supported by the jig, and as a result the work piece jumps around as the blade makes contact. This makes for inaccurate cuts. I felt very uncomfortable after just a few cuts so I abandoned the jig and cut trim the old-fashioned way. Save your money, avoid this tool.
