I guess I should have known what I was looking for

I asked the sales person for a carpet knife and this is the product ge recommended. The next day I began cutting the carpet and within 15 minutes the casing broke and became useless. I know it was inexpensive but when I showed it to my friend he asked me why I bought a box cutter instead of a carpet knife. Good question, huh?
