New blade storage clip is dumbest change yall could make. Can only store half the blades and so inconvenient and difficult to store and remove blades from the clip. Bring back the magnetic storage.

Cuts well and easy to use. It is a tough little tool for cutting at a reasonable price.

This is my favorite utility knife.

I try to have one near at hand throughout the house and shop, and one in my truck. I do have a couple of heavy duty metal utility knives, but these are what get used 95% of the time. It has features I care about, with on-board spare blades, and easy, no tool blade changes. A good "stocking stuffer" for the holidays.

They changed the style and made it terrible.

The opener slide to split is more rounded, less quality on the casting, and doesn't latch as well The inside blade holder went from a nice magnet that is easy to load and remove blades to the current spring wire that you probably will cut yourself while refilling. I had a bunch of the older style and love them and got one of the new/current style and it's horrible, so done purchasing the kobalt ones.

Easy to change blades

Some of my utility knives require a screwdriver to open in order to replace the blade. This one doesn’t. I’ve reliably used this model for years, so I purchased additional ones (one can never have too many utility knives stationed around the house)
