Easy, safe, accurate

The Kobalt 1-in Pipe Cutter offers an acceptionable cut, while providing a safe and stylish design. I have used this tool to cut various materials for computer builds and cable management. It performs great every time with straight cuts and little resistance.

Lifetime Cutters

I have no doubt these will last a lifetime; with their easily removable blade which can be replaced or resharpened, I can't see how these won't last forever. I haven't seen a v-type blade on any other cutter so far; this really helps to pierce the initial pipe for quick easy cuts. As long as this point isn't dulled, it will save lots of time and keep the pipe in original shape for easier crimping. Makes cutting 1/2” pex tubing very quick and easy with clean cuts. I would buy again.

PEX Cutter.

Easy to use, smooth cutting PEX pipe cutter. Will cut up to a 1 inch pipe. Strong blade that is extremely sharp and cuts a fairly smooth edge on PEX pipe. Blade can be easily replaced with 2 screws. The locking latch is easy to use and is a very hard composite plastic. The only bad part is the locking mechanism is riveted on, and they tend to come loose and fall out. Major pivot area can be tightened with two screw drivers. A must have for anyone that works constantly with PEX water lines.

easy to use

It is a simply cutter, for small pipe. it claims that 1 inch pipe can be cut. I have not found any that will go into the jaws. on smaller pipe it does a very good job. the lock mechanism works simply and easily.

Suitable for professional use Pex Cutter

This is a substantial tool good for every day professional use. My old pex cutter utilized a very thin razor like blade that you had to turn around the pex tube several times until the blade sliced through. This generally required two hands. Fits right in my pouch

I've been working with this tool for about a month now and I love the size of this cutter, it fits my hand and I have large hands, but it's comfortable in both my right and left hand, it's also compact enough to fit in my tool bag without being overly bulky, cuts through PEX tubing like butter, it also has a changeable blade so you don't have to keep buying a new tool you can just replace the blade and it's far safer than using a utility knife. Super sharp

The kobalt pex cutters worked great for me on a recent DIY job. They leave a clean straight cut which is needed for good coupler fitting. Works great on braided hose too! Changing blade is super easy but I have yet too cuz still very sharp after numerous cuts!

Cuts Straight, Easy to Use!

Cuts very straight compared to the other PEX cutter I have. Has a very wide saddle for holding the pipe. Only con is the lock is made from flimsy plastic. Other than that, it's a great tool.

Nicely made Pex Cutter

I am please with this product. Nothing crazy, just does the job. It is about 8” long. Cuts up to 1”OD, easy to replace the place, and has locking grip so it fits in my bag nicely.

Kobalt NEW PEX Cutter

I just added this NEW Kobalt PEX Cutter to my toolbox of PEX Tools. I think it's a "MUST HAVE" tool if you are running a lot of PEX lines. I have used a Kobalt PEX Pipe Cutter for years but upgraded to this NEW Style of cutter. It seems to cut with less effort due to the 2 angle blade. Amazing cutter

This cutter is amazing I use it to cut fuel line for my many mowers. Cuts are extremely accurate and precise each and every time. Has the lock feature which is nice and tool is ergonomic for my grip. Highly recommend this tool. I had a video on this tool but could not upload it.

Handy Plumber’s Friend

These cutters are very sharp. They cut right through Pex and rubber conduit without deforming it. The tool is small enough to fit in tight spaces. The blade is easy to replace. They catch attention because they look cool too.

Cuts very well!

Can use it one handed. This cutter is better than any of the previous PEX/PVC cutters I have owned. The compact size that makes using it in tight places must easier. Cuts PEX, PVC and rubber hose with ease. Thick walled PVC may require both hands but it will still leave a nice clean cut.

Perfect for water lines at camp!

This little guy sure will come in handy at camp, where we have to replace pieces of water line every spring. Well made, sharp blade for easy cutting. Lock for safety. Two thumbs up!

Excellent Cutter. Get One.

This is one of those products I didn't really know I needed. Most of the time I would just use a razor knife or hacksaw to cut small diameter pipes. The problem with that is the cuts are never straight and left burrs on the pipe which needed to be cleaned up or created a mess. It also took longer and was more dangerous with a knife.
