Would RecommendThe guys at the store warned me the old gray pex I had at my house might be brittle. But it cut through gray pex pipes just fine to attach shark bite fittings. Granted i only made a few cuts for a couple of repairs so i can't speak to how long it stays sharp.

Would Not RecommendIt works, jobs done, currently not leaking. ...But - NONE of the cuts were square, all were slanted off to the side. If I were to do it over again I'd pony up the extra $10ish for the SharkBite Pex cutter (https://www.lowes.com/pd/SharkBite-1-4-in-to-1-in-Pex-Cutter-Pipe-Cutter/1001340048) or roll the dice on the $10 cheapie orange SharkBite cutter (https://www.lowes.com/pd/SharkBite-1-4-in-to-1-in-Pex-Cutter-Pipe-Cutter/1002854300)

Plastic bent
Would Not Recommenditems cut well but mine was an online order and the locking arm that locks the cutters in the closed position came bent, which left it dangerous to store...currently I have the closed in my bag with electric tape but the piece is plastic and unsat. works, but fragile and wouldn't recomend. I'll be returning it next trip to lowes.
