PROS – Two tools in one, both a trimmer and lawn edger. Easy to assemble, but some instructions could have been more detailed. The length of the trimmer tubes are adjustable, and the handle compresses to a shorter size making it easier to store. It is lightweight yet powerful. Battery can be charged either on the trimmer or using the battery adapter. Charges quickly. CONS – An automatic stringer would have been a great feature.

Just got the Kobalt 24v string trimmer. Needed one to have around the house as a backup. This little guy is perfect for homeowners. It’s light, easy to put together and quick to charge. Good Power Without the Hassle of a Cord

Great upgrade from a corded trimmer. It arrived in its original packaging and even though it wen through a rainstorm, it was packaged well and pretty much pristine inside. I love that I can just plug in the battery and charge with the enclosed usb cord and plug. There is an adapter for those older batteries that do not have a USB charging ability. Great lightweight trimmer with adjustable parts

Great! I've always used kobslt string trimmers. This one is especially lightweight. I like the adjustable handle that pivots to different angles. The head pivots as well to get the right angle, which I love. The midpoint of the long pole twists 90 degrees to let you get a better angle for the edging function. I really like it. It's lighter and smaller than my previous kobalt trimmer. It came with an option to use a plastic blade trimmer instead of the line/string.

Good product for small projects only

The battery took about 5 hours to charge and was depleted in about one hour. Directions for assembly are not clear so it took looking at videos on the internet to put it together. I really like the telescoping feature. I'm 5 ft. tall and it adjust well for my height. I tried the edger first. The blades are plastic and flimsy. It cuts fairly well and its easy to use. The pros are it has multiple adjustment points and it cuts grass very well. It is also light weight.The string it comes with is strong and doesn’t break easily. The cons are pretty long. Efficient light weight trimmer

Very nice little trimmer. Nice and light for ease of use. The 3amp battery will last 30+ minutes but not in thick heavy grass. Adjustable head is great for people of different height or for awkward positions. Really well balanced. Probably ideal for older adults or people with really small yards. For the listed price, it’s a good value. It would probably be underpowered for anything bigger than a 1/4 acre lot, though.

Light weight , easy to use edger-weed eater!

The trimmer (24 volt 12 in telescopic shaft battery string trimmer)is light weight and can be adjusted for different angles which makes it fairly versatile. I used in the backyard on April 2 ,26 for edging, weed eating . The battery lasts well through the jobs with a full charge . I have been considering changing my yard equipment to electric tools and this helped with deciding. This tool would be a good choice for others thinking about starting the switch to battery powered outdoor equipment.

Oh my! I love everything about this. It was easy to put together. It’s lightweight. You can adjust length and angles three different ways: the handle, the head and the shaft. You can cut high or deep into the dirt. And the edger, that’s my favorite part. There’s wheels and you adjust it so that you can trim edges easily. A Must-Have for Girls Taking on Yard Duty

Okay I’m not exactly a power tools girl, but this made me feel like one 😂 It was super easy to put together (huge win), and since my husband is always out of town, I needed something I could handle on my own and this is perfect for quick yard touch-ups.
