A Nice, Powerful, Comfortable, Versatile Trimmer

This is my fifth string trimmer and my second battery powered model, and I’m finding it light, powerful, and versatile. SATISFIED SO FAR

Easily handles tall grass & weeds, but lightweight. I would suggest another battery, perhaps 4ah. Telescoping & adjustable handle & head for personal comfort. Quickly converts to edger. Challenging to reload line (-1 star). Lots of plastic, seems to be sturdy & well made. I recommend this trimmer.

For the price of the kobalt no one can beat it.

I was a contractor for 30 plus years and we have used all major brands cordless devices and since 2012 i started buying kobakt cordless devices a d as of i have almost every cordless tool that kobalt make and ive experienced that kobalt stands up to the best of them and i wouldn't even think to buy any other cordless device ever again, im kibalt tool man for life.

Good starter tool once you get past setup

This is a solid option if you’re new to doing your own lawn work. It works well and gets the job done, especially for basic trimming and upkeep. Once it’s up and running it feels easy to handle and not too heavy. The only downside for me was the setup. It was a little confusing at first and took longer than I expected to figure out. Great Little Trimmer for Light Duty Use

Battery operated is good with no fuel mix. It does a fair job at edging. If the grass is really thick and over the edges you are trimming it may struggle to do it efficiently meaning having to make more passes to finish the edge. Using the edger function has a learning curve. I have always used a gas trimmer. So learning to develop the technique of getting a straight line is tricky using the wheels. Nice lightweight trimmer

A nice light weight 24v line trimmer. It will not only trim but has wheels so you can turn it sideways to edge. The shaft is adjustable for different lengths for user comfort. The handle is also adjustable so you can turn it to either weedwack or edge. It takes size .065 line. It has a loop wire to help you from cutting flowers down when you get close to them. Battery lasts for about 1/2 hour.

24V Monster

This is a wonderful trimmer kit. For a 24 volt, it took out 100sqft of knee tall weeds on a 5.0 battery. I had bad luck with the included 3.0 battery. One bump to a tree while i was backing up and the usb c port wont charge the battery anymore.
