Would RecommendThis the first time I’ve used a sawzsll type reciprocstinh saw. I always thought they required strength and skill to use. But I had to cut out some subgloor close to the wall which a skill saw cannot do. Also had to demolish fiberglass tub. Worked great, but had to ho get s finer toothed blade. Wish it had come with a finer toothed blade or an assortment. Saw is light and easy to handle. Battery life is more tha adequate for diy.
Love this saw!
Would RecommendLightweight, easy to use, easy to change blades, holds a charge. Trimmed all my crepe myrtle trees with never a single problem! My new favorite landscaping tool! I bought longer blades and sailed through limbs with ease. Recommended to all my lady friends that do their own landscaping too.
Love It!
Would RecommendWhy it took so long to consider this tool, I'll never know. But now that I have it, I think it was a very good decision. It was hard to get as Lowe's was out of stock for a while. I have River Birch trees that like to shed limbs. Some of them are long and for years I had been using a standard saw to cut them down to a reasonable size to put in my truck to take to the dump. Never thought about a hand held saw that would do the trick in seconds verses minutes. But with this saw, it's a piece of ca...

Would RecommendBought while on sale in December, and used it to trim my yard trees and christmas tree for firewood. I Already own a Kobalt drill so didnt need to spend more money on a battery pack or charger. Thumbs up!

Outstanding tool
Would RecommendThis tool came in a set that I purchased (Kobalt 24V Max 6-Tool Brushless Power Tool Combo Kit Item #2548549). I have to say it is one of my favorite tools. I have 2 cordless drills (another brand) I have had for over 20 years and that have seen some serious use. Any tool I use I compare to them. This handheld saw was amazing. I was breaking down branches from a recent Ice storm that we had in OKC. I had a pile of tree limbs about the size of a large automobile. I started cutting and stripping b...
Little heavy
Would RecommendIt's a little heavy for a lady to do it. I would recommend buying clamps to grip the woods and set the right setting that would be a lot safer to hold the tool to cut it. This is completely different from the meat cutter. :D

Awesome Kobalt 24V one handed rip saw!
Would RecommendI watched some online review videos and the Kobalt one handed rip saw clearly out performed the Ryobi version. Next checked the specs: 3000 spm is the standard but you have to consider the length of the stroke. Ryobi is 5/8s, DeWalt is the same and Milwaukee is 7/8s while Kobalt is a full inch. The Milwaukee is by far the most expensive. I could not compare the brushless motor specs but I paired the Kobalt saw with two 24V 4Ah battery packs and a charger. I used this saw this holiday weekend wit...
Get One Fast
Would RecommendProbably the best cordless reciprocating saw for the size, ease of use and effectiveness right now. If you need a two-handed sawzall to cut through a truck this isn't the tool for that but for everyday use around construction materials it's fantastic and easy to handle due to the light weight. Right now they are on sale for $80 bucks and come with a free battery, too. Grab it fast! It's a great deal.
Great tool!
Would RecommendI got this one handed reciprocating saw as a gift and wasn’t sure at first what I would use it for. However, once I started using it I found that it had numerous uses. At first I used it to cut small tree limbs into firewood. I was able to saw through 2 inch limbs with one hand and the saw worked great. The balance on the saw helps keep your operating hand from getting tired and the vibration on the saw was hardly noticeable. Overall a home run. good job Kobalt!
Excellent Reciprocating saw!
Would RecommendI researched one handed reciprocating saw extensively before buying this saw. This was at the top or near the top in multiple reviews. It tied with the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Hackzall in one review. I like it because it is considerable smaller the Milwaukee M18 Hackzall but it performs just as well as the Milwuakee. Anyway, the saw was on sale when I got it, plus I got a free 2.0 ah battery when I bought it online and then picked it up at the store. Overall, after using it I was very impresse...
Easier to use than sawzall
Would RecommendMay not do everything my sawzall will but it is easier to use and I may never use my sawzall again. I'm very, very happy I decided to buy this saw.

Still Going Strong
Would RecommendAfter two years its still working perfectly. People at work are surprized at the quality and power. I do wish they grow to have a huge line up like Ryobi or Makita.
Great Saw
Would RecommendI bought this saw to trim shrubbery and small limbs with. Being able to operate it with one hand is great and extends your reach. It's also great for sheet rock and other thin materials like plywood or like materials. One 2.0 Battery will easily run it all day. The saw is fairly light weight but durable. Highly recommend this saw.
