Broke in 5 Minutes

Stopped working after 5 minutes of cutting tree roots (approx: 1” diameter) Purchased new 7 days ago. Hopefully I can exchange at the store for a replacement.

I did NOT receive this item

I did not receive this item. Instead I was gifted a small circular saw that had nothing to do with what I paid for. Lowes, of course, will not send me the item I ordered until I returned the wrong item they accidentally sent Thus ensuring it will be weeks longer for me to wait to get what should have been in my hands today. So now, I have to send back (via fed ex drop off) the Lowe's mistake, so Lowes can re-fund me (at some vague future point) and then I have to re-order the item that Lowes was...

use to work good with good battery life now the light just blinks at me and doesn't move

Great tool!

Wonderful tool for when you need a reciprocating saw, but don't need the full muscle of the standard saw. It's light and nimble! Handy tip: I use the simple shower curtain hooks to keep my blades organized.

Good battery life but overheats quickly

This 24 volt Kobalt reciprocating saw overheated and was replaced with larger model, after much hassle at Las Vegas, NV Lowes. 24 volt hammer drill chuck failed and drill was replaced, hassle free at Las Vegas, NV Lowes. Replacement hammerdrill still going strong. 24 volt Kobalt blower lock-on switch failed (ran down battery) and was replaced, hassle free at Las Vegas, NV Lowes. 24 volt Kobalt drill failed (only operated in reverse, not forward) after 10 months use, which was gift to son. ...

Nice Saw! But...

This is a nice little chainsaw that is ideal for smaller jobs that don't require a large saw. Stronger fingers than I have are required to turn the blade clamp to insert or remove the blade, but I've found that holding and turning it with pliers will do the job. Even doing it this way will probably be difficult (or even impossible) for some people. Were it not for this difficulty, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Great tool and value for many tasks

I was skeptical of this tool at first, but believe me this is one of t hose tools you didn't know you need until you have it. I used to have to frag the chain saw out to trim a prune a few branches. This is so fast and with less effort. I highly recommend this!

Excellent quality, great value

Lowe's asked me for a review of the batteries and charger I purchased with this saw (Kobalt KRS-124B-03), but never asked about the saw, which I'm most excited about. Handy Tool

The saw is convenient as far as size to handle in tight or small places. The ability to take it without the hassle of a cord dragging or in the way. As far as longevity of the tool I can’t say since I have only had it for a short while. Will have to wait and see as time goes by.

This is a good quality tool that should last a long time. I like the one handed operation.

Good balance for one handed work.

Great tool. Wish I could have found it with a battery and charger included, but I'm more than satisfied with the results! Getting an online order processed and picked up so close to Christmas was a bonus.
