What Customers Are Saying

The Kobalt torque wrench offers a range of torque settings and is easy to use, making it suitable for smaller, light-duty tasks. However, some users reported issues with accuracy, particularly at lower torque levels, and a few experienced the wrench breaking bolts. Additionally, the new packaging design was criticized as difficult to open without damaging the case.

This is better than my old Snap On torque wrench!

Would Recommend

This thing is a beast. Needed to torque the beads on my rims to exactly 27, and it worked perfect. Verified by my brothers digital torque wrench.

KOBALT VS CRAFTSMAN

Would Recommend

Initially bought the Craftsman cause it was in special, rode my motorcycle from Tampa to Charlestown (NC) to do a complete overhaul, the craftsman ratchet mechanism failed on the first 56lb-ft (over 50% capacity) total garbage, switched to KOBALT on 65lb-ft rear axle tightened like a breeze! (Better construction, better finish, betterquality!) do spend the 10-15USD more, it is worth the KOBALT

Works well for me

Would Recommend

Compact size, easy to set torque, satisfying click. If I was going to be using it day in and day out I’d be a digital one though

Set it for 25ft lbs and never heard a click until the bolt head snapped off. Will be returning.

The one I purchased simply doesn't work. It has been good at snapping a bolt off a water pump. It doesn't click, vibrate, or anything else. Pricey heavy wrench.

Aircraft Mechanic Endorsed

Would Recommend

I exclusively have used Snap-On Torque Wrenches over rhe past 14 years of being an aircraft mechanic. I Highly endorse this Tq. Wrench. I wish it had a better case, but it is by far the best affordable alternative to Snap-On that I have found. Accurate and dependable, you will not regret your purchase. I am currently using it for all my Tesla tire rotations. Just remember to set it to it’s lowest setting after you use it.

Accurate, and Made in Taiwan

I've had this torque wrench for about three weeks now, and I am using it to maintain my motorcycle and bicycles. As soon as it arrived, I compared it against two other torque wrenches, one that also (like this one) works in both directions, and another that only works on right-hand threads. The new torque wrench matched the others perfectly at a couple of different torque settings (in both directions when compared to the one that also works on left and right threads). I especially like that thi...
