Would Not RecommendNice looking tool, heavy duty; probably works properly right-side up but this Torque Wrench didn't work as required . . . which was "upside-down" under my Big Dog Mower Deck changing the grass cutting blades. Upside down, there was "NO" discernable "click" to notify the user that the Torque setting of 118 FP had been achieved. The writer never heard the "click" from the Torque Wrench causing "over torque" of the cutting blade bolts under the mower deck; end result caused mower deck belt failure ...

Would RecommendThe fit and finish seem to be very good; not as nice as my Mac torque wrenches, but better than i expected for a $65 torque wrench. The “click” sounds and feels very positive; even at the lower ranges. I haven’t used it much, so i cant speak to longevity or relibility, but it’s good so far. My only complaint is that it only has ft/lb markings. N-m markings on the other side would be nice, so i dont have to convert N-m to ft/lb when im working on metric stuff and given metric values.

Would RecommendThis is a tool that does what it was designed to do and does it well. The price is not obnoxious and it’s easy to use. However, the packaging needs to be better secured to better thwart would-be thieves.

Would Not RecommendGreat wrench until it came apart unprovoked. The two machine screws that hold the head together went flying when I opened it up one day. Always stored in the box it came it, cared for like all of our nice calibrated tools. Took it back to Lowes, the wouldn't warranty it, said call Kobalt. Mind you, I am just asking for replacement screws - if you can't give me screws, replace the wrench. Kobalt wouldn't warranty it or provide parts, they said call JS Technologies. JS Technologies took a week and...
