Neat Fresh Pasta - Finally!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have always wanted to make our own fresh pasta, and now I can! Finally got the pasta maker attachment for our 25+ year-old KA 5 Qt mixer, and it worked perfectly. Used the regular beater/bowl to make the dough, then the roller set to make part semolina fettuccine. Very pleased with the results! Treat yourself -- you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful and well built

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They looks great, are sturdily built, and perform very well. If I had to name one thing I wish was better, it’s the ability and easiness to clean them; you can only use a brush, which means any dough pieces or flour could eventually get stuck in the mechanisms, and it also means you can use it on stickier doughs for Northern or Eastern European noodles.

Great Set

I've used it twice (in 3 days) and it is great! The first time was tricky getting used to the process, but the 2nd time I had it down and was able to make almost paper-thin fettucine from scratch. The one downside is cleaning it - can't get it wet, and the pasta tends to fall into the mechanism and has to be "shaken" out on...

It was good but I realized I should have used a different recipe. Next time I will. The attachment was terrific and I loved the way it rolled out the dough. Will use it again soon.

Pasta, pasta, and more pasta

Fun pasta

Fresh Pasta is Unmatched

Making your own pasta is a lot more work than boxed, but this makes it as easy as it gets. We have used it several times already and have never had a bad outcome. High quality made in Italy. What better place for a pasta maker.
