The #6 is just perfect to get the right thinness needed. So very happy we bought the KitchenAid Pasta Roller-cutter set. Anxious to try the cutter attachments..

So easy to use

I received this as a Christmas gift from my son. Have used it several times and my family has told me no more boxed pasta as they love my home made. Absolutely love it!

Works well

The pasta roller takes some getting used to so the pasta does not bunch or tear when starting out with folds and rolling. When I made spaghetti with the suggested settings, it came out more like angel hair pasta so you may need to play around to see what works for you. It would be nice if the instructions had a better flow as you sometimes have to flip back and forth betw...

What was needed

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I’ve made pasta. Super easy to use and once you get your rhythm very fun! I made several flat sheets then cut them into spaghetti so I didn’t have to switch rollers as often. Also dusted the flat sheets with flour so they didn’t stick when cut into strands.

Capellini Cutter

I bought this a month ago and out of the box it would not work. The cheap plastic guides in the cappellini cutter must be misaligned because no pasta comes through. I have tried to contact KitchenAid directly multiple times and after waiting on the line for hours at a time I’ve been disconnected with no results. Spaghetti cutter does not work

Bought for my daughter as a Christmas gift and she has made fettucine a couple times and we were very pleased until we tried to make spaghetti. The dough jams up inside the cutter and will not go through. We followed directions to a tee and make sure the dough dried out first. Love the fettucine cutter, but the spaghetti cutter we received is defective.

Pasta perfect!

I bought this for my wife for Christmas and we tried it for the first time the same day! Easy to use, added a chicken alfredo to our spread within minutes…

Another reason to get out the mixer

We bought this to help with eating healthier. Nice and easy to use but the spaghetti cutter scrapers were not put on correctly. They fell off after starting to cut the dough. After getting them back on the dough had dried out. Otherwise, fettuccine was great.

Great Product

I followed the dough recipe in the KitchenAid Cook Book and the process made the best dough I have ever made. I have noticed the Cutters yet as I made ravioli but can't wait to try them.

I have wanted one of those for years and years. My Grandma made home made noodles and I loved them. The first batch I made was for shrimp scampi. With the leftover pasta I made lo Mein. I love it, and my husband loves my renewed interest in Cooking. Well worth the money!!

bought over a month ago made hubby shrimp with Fettuccine and he love it! used the rest of the noddle's and just tossed with butter soo much better than store bought

Plastic pieces falling off make it unusable

I had borrowed a friend's set to make noodles, and I used them a lot. I loved the pasta roller and cutters, so I got my own set, and when I used it, the spaghetti cutter got completely jammed up. After much cleaning and poking around, I realized that the plastic combs on the bottom of the cutter, which are supposed to prevent the dough wrapping around, are so flimsy that they just come loose, allowing the dough jam the cutter. Defective roller? or Design flaw?

Got this whole set last year. just recent realize the is a big gap between the roller and the main body. which had teared apart the dough sheet and trapped dough each time. i am not sure this is a Design flaw? or defective product?
