Use cold meats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ground this with meats that were cold and didn’t have any issues. I thought it was easy to set up and it worked well for me when I made hamburgers. This gives me options as I usually use a food processor which sometimes grinds things too fine! I plan on trying this for meatballs and sausage when I am brave enough! I love kitchen aid products!

Easy to use!

Grind that meat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd been looking into making my own blends of ground hamburger, pork, and sausages though didn't want to invest into an independent unit. When receiving a KitchenAid stand mixer for a Christmas gift I found the Food Grinder attachment while shopping for add-ons, best random find ever. With three grinding blades the cuts and consistency of your grinds can be tailored for you receipt, this is a/the game changer for grilling season.

Great for Venison

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to process the venison my husband brought home and it worked great. We trim and cut the meat into chunks small enough for the tube and did 10 lbs in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend if you want to try processing deer meat at home.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Kitchen Aid mixer for many years and wanted to add more attachments to use it in new ways. I was excited to get the food grinder to make meatballs. The grinder was very easy to set up and use. It was easy to take apart and clean and I love that it is dishwasher safe. The grinder seems to be very well made and I am looking forward to trying recipes with it.

Grinds great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grinder attachment is super useful for my partner who loves to hunt every year. It's saved a ton of time and money going to a processor when we can just do it ourselves at home! I've also used it to make salmon burgers and it's quick and easy. Also it creates a more consistent texture and is easier to use than a food processor for burgers in particular. I love that Kitchenaid has so many useful attachments for the stand mixer!

Extremely Poor Design and Workmanship

I bought this attachment about two years ago and have lightly used it to mince meat every few months. In the last use a major metal rod connecting the mixer to blade just broke and the unit is useless now. I contacted the customer care hoping to get some help but they were not helpful at all. A major piece of metal should not be breaking after only a light use and the company not standing behind is just a shame.

This Grinder is Awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this food grinder a month ago and it is perfect for my small kitchen. With it being an attachment to my loving long lasting stand mixer, it is perfect! I can install it to my stand mixer very quickly and easily. I can also take it apart super fast and clean out all the nooks and crannies. It grinds the meat into the perfect ground beef texture.

I’m glad i got the food grinder attachment. I use it to make sausages. The attachment is quiet while in use. It is also very easy to clean afterwards.

Perfect attachment to an already great mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a few weeks ago and love the lightweight durability of the grinder. I have a huge grinder but hate getting it all out. This makes it so much easier. Comes with a few different blades so you can change the size and the food pusher fits perfectly so that grinding is efficient. Fast, not to noisy and works like a charm! I love my mixer and the grinder attachment. I cannot wait to try more!

Easy to Use!
