Great tool for the kitchen

Broken worm gear.

We have purchased it few weeks ago as attachment for our favourite KitchenAid. After just FIRST use (!) for meat grinding - metal part inside (worm gear) failed. Literally screw at the end of metal part of worm gear has broken. Looks like weak material or construction failure. I expected strong and reliable device from KichenAid brand got poor quality and money waste instead. Definitely do not recommend it !

I'm not surprised it's so easy to use and even to clean considering how amazing all the kitchenaid products I own are. I would recommend this to anyone looking to grind their own meat!

So easy to use

I love making more natural foods for my family with the simplest of ingredients, this grinder has taken it to a whole new level. I can grind my own meats and add the spices I want!! Fabulous attachment!

I've had this attachment for a number of years now, and I couldn't be happier with it. It has allowed us to choose what cuts of meat we are eating, as well as their fat content. I also use it every Thanksgiving day to grind up cranberries and oranges for our families traditional relish. Easy to attach, remove and clean.

I never knew I needed this

Lately, I have found that some of the cuts aren't as tasty cooked whole and decided to use the meat grinder. The meat grinder is such an easy way to tenderize cheaper cuts of meat, and infuse them with seasoning. It does work better if you cut the meat up in pieces and trim the fat to an acceptable amount. Easy and Fun!!

I had to find a recipe that I knew we would enjoy so the family and I decided to make sausage that we used for biscuits and gravy! The attachment was pretty easy to attach to my mixer and the instructions were simple enough that we were able to get it to work the first time. I did a great job of grinding up the meat and we look forward to trying new recipes with it.

The best attachment!

Of course I've used and loved my KitchenAid mixer for years and years... why didn't I know they had a grinder attachment?! We are hunters and cannot wait to process the usually wasted deer and elk scraps (not to mention everyday meat scraps) for healthy dog food for our 4 dogs! Impressive

This stand mixer attachment food grinder includes the food grinder, food tray, fine frinding plate, coarse grinding plate and food pusher. It's all complete for what you needed. Easy to set up and use. Cleaning is also not complicated. Im impressed andd like it very much. Well done!

Going to love this addition

The Food Grinder attachment is very easy to attach to the mixer, as well as remove. The instructions are clear and easy to follow when using this attachment. The grinder piece seems well made. Very easy to attach

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a massive Kitchenaid fan, just look at my kitchen! I've had the stand mixer for awhile now and I love it. But I always had to use a separate appliance to grind my pork for sausage. Until I found this attachment. I don't use it often so I'm glad to have found an attachment to an appliance I use all the time. It grinds really nicely. That did surprise me actually. I highly recommend it!
