[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a KitchenAid - Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder Attachment. It has 3 quick changing blades. They are used for slicing or shredding. One blade is for course shredding, one is for fine shredding, and the other one is for slicing. Very easy to use. Easy on and off of attachments. Just make sure it fits your model KitchenAid.

Convenient

My stand mixer is always out on my counter and all I need is to attach a few pieces and it’s ready to go. Before I would have to grab my chopper from storage and all the prices to clean were such a pain. I hope this continues to be a product that will serve me wel.

And it works really well! I have used it a few times to slice vegetables for a salad and it is much quicker and easier than doing by hand!

This slicing and shredding attachment should be the very first accessory that you get for it. This does a consistently great job of slicing veggies for us, and personally that saves me a fair amount of meal prep work. Build quality is excellent and what you would expect from KitchenAid. If you have any use for a slicer or shredder, grab this add on asap.

I use it mostly for shredding blocks of cheese for different meals. These attachments are easy to clean. If you hand shred or slice anything, I would get this to replace it!

Great attachment for mixer

Perfect accessories for my stand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our stand mixer almost everyday. These attachments are awesome. The most useful for us is the spiral one. We use it to make different "spaghetti" veggie pasta. Attachments lock in and get out very easily, not requiring too much pressure. They're good strong quality same as the stand mixer. Overall very pleased with the mix of the attachments that are included in the bundle.

Cheese, potatoes -- literally everything that I have tried to use with this attachment has been so easy. It's extremely easy to attach and switch out the different attachments. So worth the money!

I think since we have gotten it we use it almost every day. It is straightforward to clean and shreds things like butter. If you have a kitchenaid then this is a must have!

Excellent pre tool
