Amazing!

And now, being able to add this fresh prep slicer and shredder attachment to it makes it even better. Gone are the days of shredding a block of cheese for what seems like forever. Now, it is done so quickly and with ease.

I have a few attachments to compliment my mixer and this one is a nice addition. I cook vegetables a lot and this speeds up my prep time. Also works great for shredding a lot of cheese.

Awesome Slicer/Shredder attachment

The color goes perfectly with all color of stand! I really found the french fry slicer to be one of the most useful tools as it helps to keep hungry families happy! Good investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd definitely recommend this slicer/shredder, especially if you sometimes cook for a lot of folks at once. If you have a KitchenAid stand mixer, it's a valuable accessory. Its great for shredding a lot of cheese at once, which is what I mostly use it for. Definitely a time-saver. The base component, unlike the blade inserts, is not dishwasher-safe, but its pretty easy to wipe down. Quality-wise its what you'd expect from KitchenAid.

Didn’t realize I needed this

Great Attachments

I cannot explain how easy these slice and shred attachments have made cooking recently! Usually when I make home made mac and cheese I have to hand shred multiple blocks of cheese, well not anymore! Same thing when I would cut or slice multiple vegetables it took for ever, now it’s just a few minutes if that. It has cut down on food prep time tremendously....

Super easy to use

The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I just give them a rough chop and put them in the machine and it dices them right up super fast and easy. I love it for cheese when making home made pizza. It is easy to clean. I hand wash everything.

The plastic tube broke just taking it out of box. I would not recommend this, it will not last.

Makes prep work so much faster

I've had my mixer for 20 years and it's still running strong. I love this attachment. It was so easy to use and clean. I didn't think I would use it as much as I do. It's great.

Easy hook up, hard clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder attachment was easy to attach and use. I shredded a few blocks of cheese that were varying in density very quickly. The only thing I didn’t like was how hard it is to get clean. I had chunks of the more dense cheese stick inside the shredder so therefore it took me a while to clean it all out. With the softer cheeses I didn’t have any issues. Excited to try it on some veggies!

This makes quick work for making salsa, making sauerkraut, and making everyday salad meals. We have gotten so much use out of it in just the last month. It’s fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder attachment works fine. The shredder attachments are pretty consistent in shredding. The slicer on the other hand seems to be inconsistent with the thickness of the slices. If you have another appliance like a food processor then this is an unnecessary kitchen gadget.

Ideal Accessory for Plant-Based Eaters

It is a game changer. Veggie noodles? Done. Carrot slices, no problem. Shredded veggies for cole slaw? Easy peasy. If you are on the fence, don't be. This tool gets tons of use in my kitchen.

Slicer/Shredder attachment for Kitchen Aid Mixer

Made fresh carrot salad and also carrot cake which were awesome. I have also shredded block sharp cheddar cheese with my attachment. Really good.
