There are plastic components to this which isn’t my preference but it still feels very high quality. Set up was simple and fast, as was making the pasta dough. There was a bit of a learning curve on some of the pasta shapes, when to cut and how to avoid them sticking together. Clean up needs to be done right away, it was a bit of a difficult time but a good soapy soak helped...

We love this thing

This has given us the ability to make lots of other options. It's really easy to use and clean. We're extremely happy with this.

Easy to use!

Cleaning the pasta press was pretty simple too after reading the directions on how to take it apart. Gourmet pasta press

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opened box soon as I received it. Decided to try it out. Instructions are detailed and not hard to follow. Once I decided on the pasta , it was easy to set up. The auger moves the pasta up and down. Just had to decide length I wanted. Trial and error but I got it working. Homemade pasta was awesome and comes with everything you need to clean as well. Definitely would recommend as homemade is always the best way to go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pasta press. I use my KitchenAid mixer so much and I love to have attachments to go with it so I can do other things with it. I have always wanted to make homemade pasta, but I was so scared to even try. With this pasta press it makes making pasta so easy. We can make many different types of pastas and combine them using different sauces. It attaches easily and cleans up well. I feel like such a professional now.

Lives up to Kitchen Aid standards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A wonderful addition to my Kitchen Aid Mixer. It is of very high quality, and well made, standards I have come to expect from Kitchen Aid. Directions were clear and easy to follow. I used their pasta recipe and it was very easy to drop little balls into the auger, and presto, pasta! The attached slicer was very handy and worked great. I am looking forward to getting the noodle making attachment.

At first it took a minute to start coming out but once it got going, it was really consistent and pretty fast. We used the recommended speed for the pasta type we were making.
