Great Addition
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This attachment is a great addition to our home and kitchenware. It has been fun to use on the recent hot days in Texas and our kids have really enjoyed making the ice and watching it fill up their cups. We are happy to have an activity to do as a family and it has been easy to clean and use. This will also be a great thing to have for birthday parties.

Makes surprisingly a good amount

I was worried this would not be enough but it makes a good amount once shaved. Easy to use, shaves ice fairly quick. All I did was buy the supplies of flavoring and I let my KitchenAid mixer do the rest. The ice was smooth. It was a little noisy, but it wasn’t unbearable. I’m so glad that I can make shaved ice for my children all summer long. This is a great treat!

The kids asked for a shaved ice maker for Christmas but I didn’t want to add another thing taking up space in the kitchen so the attachment is a good choice. This has the option for coarse and finer shaved ice and it has a nice clearance underneath for a bowl that holds a decent amount of shaved ice at once. It is also very sturdy.

Comes with two sized shaving blades for fine or course ice. They are housed I. Separate units that you can install without having to handle blades. Kids will love it or make unusual ice deserts !

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can honestly say that you should run out and get this attachment for your mixer before summer gets here! This is delicious ice and is so fun to make and eat! KitchenAid brand attachments are a must for your mixer don’t settle for off brand or just go find a shaved ice truck. I’ve had a grinder that wasn’t KitchenAid brand and it didn’t last. This shaver will be well worth the money since my kids and I love icees! I can’t wait for summer!
